sense and sensitivity
nonsense and sensibility
I carry them inside of me
it makes me who I am
outcast from what I thought I'd be
not near what mama thought of me
it could be, we'll just wait and see
what comes out in the end
suspicious of the path we choose
we give and take, we win and lose
we all have something to prove
some praised and some condemned
win or fail still we all play
regardless of what people say
it's all a big game anyway
challenges to contend

I mean, life itself is a huge gamble. It's also a scam but I digress, lol. Loved your poem!
You're absolutely right. That black paint in the picture is going to take a couple of coats even of Kilz to cover, lol. Wonderful poem.
Are you a fan of Jane Austen? Great poem! Well written!
