The greatest unfairness in a relationship is that you feel you can't lose him, but he can live without you. Because of this, he becomes the one who sets the rules. You can only follow, not demand. You can only concede, and with each concession, you lose a little more of yourself.

People who don't truly care about you will eventually walk away anyway. In the end, you will lose them regardless. Those who constantly have to "give in" in a relationship will never be truly appreciated or cherished.

After striving so hard, you must also learn when to cut your losses. True happiness can only be found with someone who fears losing you just as much as you fear losing them.
