Rambunctious Red!

Beginner Limerick

Rollicking Red

There once was a gal who loved red.

It wouldn’t get out of her head!

It made her feel happy…

Never glum nor snappy…

Aye, that gal, she still adores red!

This is my first attempt at creative writing since leaving school, oh too many decades ago!

The only poetry my rusty brain I could recall was “Dr Foster went to Gloucester…”, so I used its rhythm & wrote this poem for Poppy’s Colour Challenge.

Thanks Poppy for giving me a kick start!🙃
