Raindrops In A Puddle

When all I see is rain

By Robin EdwardsPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

I am tired of saying I’m sorry

for things I didn’t do

tired of feeling guilty

tired of feeling bad

tired of feeling responsible

for always making you mad

Sometimes shit

just hits the fan

like raindrops in a puddle

But it seems

it’s always me

that gets blamed

for all the trouble

Maybe it’s you

being you

that causes all the puddles

that causes all the pain

you always see a puddle

when all I see is rain

Who you gonna blame

when I take off with the rain

leave you in a puddle

you will never claim

leave you looking foolish

when no one else remains

to feel guilty for your pain
