Our Garden of memories- a poem about love and longing

memories bloom and wither in the garden of love but, hope keeps them alive.

It's been long we saw but when you appeared, it felt like you were never afar.

and all I wanted to do at that moment was hug you like I've never felt your warmth.

how soothing it is to have you back home to me and the us you've always cherished.

can we run while giggling happily in our garden of ecstatic memories?

the flowers are withering-- can we make them blossom, just like we have?

Oh I hope you can still carry me on your firm back, where I find solace, and allow me to scream your name to the sky.

My dear swain, let not this stage slip away from us one more time, for this is what we deserve to have.
