Let’s tell the story of Us,

How long it's been, yet we never felt odd,

For our love comes from a renewable source.

We fought, thought we wouldn’t survive,

But then we found reasons to strive.

Yeah, it’s all worth the fight.

Tick! Tick! Time ticks,

But then, we never felt sick—

For our love is here to stay, for eons.

Tears rolled, sacrifices were made,

For our love is a fairy tale,

One that, in this life, will never fade.

We can go on and on with our story,

But we’ll have to write till sheets expire,

For our story is a long ballad of Savoury.
