The medium that builds businesses,
Or makes people who invest lose it all,
The new world weapon for online trolls and scammers,
The death of chivalry, or for that first date.
It can be a place to learn new and revisit the old,
Or speed up feelings of nihilism or existentialism.
It can be the break from the cusp of reality,
It may lead to one having to file for bankruptcy,
Useful for connecting with others,
Or tearing relationships apart.
Social media-the elephant that will always be in the room,
Where the mind may go to waste or to feed a narcissist,
Or to be used to build and mould a community.
