No Trespassing!!!!
~A Poem for The Full Moon Poetry Challenge~
The following poem is based on an unsettling dream that I had a while ago! I hope that you enjoy it! ๐

An elderly office assistant says:
"Remove yourself from this attendance office at once, you imposter."
"For I've scanned the graduation list several times, and you are still not on my roster."
"Furthermore, your attendance file and university grades do not exist!"ย
"Tell me. How many days of college have you actually missed?"

I say:
"Only two days this school year, ma'am."ย

The office assistant says:
"I don't believe you; you're no innocent lamb!"
*
I say:
"Can we continue this talk later?"
"Right now, I have a big math test."
*
The office assistant says:
"You haven't earned the right to be here; you're becoming a huge pest."
*
I say:
"There must be some mistake."
"My English 431 teacher, Miss Avery, can vouch for me."
*
The office assistant says:
"Hush, child!"
"Miss Avery passed away eight years ago."
"English 431 is now taught by Professor Lee."
*
The office assistant adds:
"Frankly, I have no more time for your lies!ย
"Back to freshman year of high school you must go!"

All I can think, as I'm dragged out by the police, in handcuffs, and booked for trespassing is:
"Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!" "Noooooooooooooooooooooo!"

This is a very interesting dream. I would have been unsettled by it. However, you added a bit of a humorous twist in the way you presented it in the poem. Great job!!!
