Love's Plight

A 'Love in 50 Words' Challenge Entry

By Cindy CalderPublished 12 months ago Updated 12 months ago 1 min read

Across tranquil waters, rises a sound

Enchantment echoes, lifts, abounds

Melodic fate reverberates, fulfills the night

In symphonies triumphant of love’s plight

Scattered stars streak beyond the moonlit sky

Whispering luminous songs much like a sigh

While flower petals on the water fall,

And destined hearts heed love's call

A poem with a thousand shades but with the central message of love. Very emotional, nostalgic, and deeply introspective.

Well-wrought! Flower petals falling on and being whisked away by the water is an excellent metaphor for the way love can carry us on unseen currents!

Oh, this is pure elegance! This reads like a celestial sonata, where love pirouettes across moonlit waters! The way your words ripple like petals on a tranquil lake—effortless, yet profound—gives it a timeless, almost mythical charm. A poetic waltz of destiny! ✨🤍
