Lilac, lemon and scarlet catch my eye
flits from Bottlebush to tall Blue Gum…
Love soaring joyously in the sky.
Pale-headed Rosellas’ wings thrum…
Love perches playfully in the sun
quietly chattering to and fro.
Family flock together … join in the fun
Love’s pure Calypso…
playing… staying forever together.

I bet you were sitting outside looking out of your back garden at the Australian bush or at least thinking about it when you put this together. Great poem, Angie!
