They said the sky had fallen.
But I knew that it knew
that sometimes
the world just needs a gentle hug,
and that the answers we all search for,
in the deepest depths of our soul,
can most times be found
in the brackish reflection
of our own tears -
if only
we’d take a moment
to look.
