I once befriended a couple,

who had the same aunt and uncle.

They weren't bro and sister,

but Missus and Mister.

Now figure it out if you're able.

    Were they kissing cousins?

  • Wonderful & clever riddle. I, too, had guessed cousins (which certainly would have been possible), but yours was better. I'm guessing the life story of this family is quite interesting. Congrats!

  • um... step bro - step sis 😅 I'm still thinking...

  • Very cool, I have to give this one some thinking.

I feel like this would have to do with one's family having one generation older than the other. Generational gaps tend to occur frequently, especially if one family tends to have kids like every when they reach 18-24 years of age versus some that have them at 24-35 years of age. Different biological clocks for different folks. Well, I just checked for an answer, and found what J.R. posted. Makes sense. Heck, I had a cousin on my mom's side of the family that wanted to date a cousin on my dad's side of the family. Would've made sense since none of them shared blood relatives previously. Also, being the biracial family out of the two, it makes it pretty easy to put two-and-two together too.

Maybe they are double first cousins. Cousins sometimes marry...more so in bygone days.
