This is caught in a sharp place between optimism and cynicism and I love it 😁

Ugh. Reminds me of how the skies looked here when we got the smoke from the wildfires.

Gosh I felt this one. Sallow sickly - fantastic word combination. This was excellent. Hope you’re ok Hannah. Was just thinking about you this morning actually and hoping you’d be writing something new.

Boy does this Haiku put the Sky-ku Challenge into perspective, Hannah! Very sobering indeed!

  • Excellent poem & great image… it would be hideous to have to live there!

I agree with Andrea. We need better air quality. It's terrible when the haze that originates in the peatlands in Indonesia hits Singapore.

  • Potent verse. If only we could change everything around us and everyone began fighting for better air quality and a safer environment. If only.

Really need some blue skies somewhere, they better not all be gray. deep delusions of blueness. Well said.

  • So that's being positive or being delusional? Lol. Loved your Haiku!
