At first, just one and then one more

Another two, another four

He'll eat you out of house and home

Swallow the world, and then he'll roam

x

Across a universe so vast

He chooses to exist outcast

The point of no return has passed

He'd sooner die than he would fast

x

But die he might, unholy night

Descends to claim his mortal soul

He's desperate for another bite

Excess begins to take its toll

x

Consume a kingdom though he may

He hungers yet for further prey

No-one will witness his dismay

When his body starts to betray

x

His failing heart and feeble mind

Now come to find he's yet been blind

For years ago his sight he signed

Away for extra piggy rind

x

And drinks, you know he loves them too

It sinks, the anchor tied to him

Into the drink, he's gone from view

But did he ever learn to swim?

x

Or is he in over his head

He'll soon wash up stone-cold and dead

Unless, of course, he brings his bread

In which case he stands in good stead

x

He's back in line for second thirds

He'd love to learn to eat his words

Back to the start is where we go

I think he's kneeding extra dough

x

A life of decadence he seeks

Always searching for higher peaks

This junkie drunkard knows his place

He will use up all time and space

x
