Dancing with Fear
This poem belongs to Chapter 1: Soul Awakening. An invitation to show up as you are — even with fear.

Don’t run from fear.
It’s an old companion —
a shadow that walks beside you
through your darkest, quietest moments.
Fear isn’t your enemy,
nor a cage.
It’s a signal
pointing to what still matters,
what still aches inside.
Fear wears many faces:
fear of being yourself,
fear of losing everything,
fear of not being enough,
fear of not being loved for who you truly are.
But it’s not a weight that lasts forever.
It’s just an echo
you can learn to quiet.
A fire that — if you meet it with courage —
will teach you how to ignite
and grow.
Don’t blame yourself for feeling it.
Don’t punish yourself for being afraid.
Rome wasn’t built in a day,
and your strength won’t rise
without a foundation.
Every small step counts.
Every move forward is a victory.
And even when fear whispers doubts,
you can turn that voice
into a fading echo.
Embrace fear,
not to let it control you,
but so that one day,
you can set yourself free.
Don’t wait for fear to disappear to find joy.
Learn to dance with its uneasy presence.
Because only then,
by holding what hurts and frightens,
can you truly say you moved forward
as your real self:
imperfect,
unfinished,
and deeply brave.
