Cloudland
Visions In The Sky

Introduction
This is from a prompt from a close friend to write a poem about clouds, and I thought of all the shapes I see made by clouds and images like this where a crane seems to be holding up a cloud like an ice cream cornet:

Then this from a couple of weeks back looking like a fiery rodent.

The thing is often these formations are only visible for seconds and it is only thanks to me having my phone on me when I am out, that I can capture them.
So let us drop into
Cloudland
☁️🌧️🌨️⛈️🌨️🌧️☁️
Each Day We See These Visions In The Sky
Natural Beauty For All To Enjoy
The Oceans Of The Air Until They Cry
And Then Rain Down To Feed The Plants And Soil
☁️⛈️☁️
Now Look, And What Sights Can You See Above?
Cumulo Nimbus Swirl Like A Dragon
These Clouds Are A Visual Treasure Trove
Though These Formations Sometimes Hide The Sun
🌧️⛈️🌧️
You May See An Angel, Cirrostratus
That Morphs To A Cat, Unexpectedly
These Swirling Shapes Can Always Amaze Us
So These Are A Heavenly Mystery
🌨️⛈️🌨️
Cloud Formations Different Every Day
Heavenly Construction, Nature At Play
☁️🌧️🌨️⛈️🌨️🌧️☁️

FOA, your vision is wonderful. Poetic. Sky may give a lot of hugs if it hears this!
Super spectacular sonnet! You captured clouds poetically. I see images in clouds too. Loving "Cloudland"!❤️❤️💕
Loved this MikeyD! I was loooking at cloudes with my best friend when she was here; it's light-hearted fun for us. My cousin sent a photo of a cloud last night from Arizona and wrote, "See the angel". I am quite blunt in cloud interpretations and I said "nope, I see a rat and little rat poops trailing behind it" , lol.
Beautiful job tracing the movements and shapes as clouds transform.
Love it. I find shapes in clouds too!
This one struck a chord with me. I love cloud watching. Especially on long journeys, and at sunset.
Simply beautiful. Another idea is to read this as an introduction to clouds for a preschool science lesson then going outside, if possible, to watch the clouds and find shapes. I still do this every once in a while. Good work.
Oh so lovely. I always see God, angels, lots of animals and dragons breathing fire. Someone said God loves dogs, that why he rearranged the letters of his name.
Beautiful. I love looking at clouds 💞
Oooo, those are fantastic cloud pics and such a wonderful poem!
