A Villanelle Of Domestic Angst In The Bedroom
Introduction
Today I changed the duvet cover and was reminded of the accurate meme above.
So I thought I would write a villanelle about the trials and tribulations of doing this. I do wonder whether this should be a Humor Community piece or a Poetry piece but it's only two hundred words or so, so that means Poetry with a Humor tag.
The Lurkers' "Ain't Got A Glue" is appropriate.
It should be simple but it always confounds me, though I do get there eventually. Proof below:

Now There Are Five Corners Melting My Brain
What I Thought Was East Has Transformed To North

Then It Disappears To Some Spectral Plane
Now What Can I Do Next? Restart Of Course
