Boredom

This is my nineteenth dark poem in the series inspired by Dharrsheena.

This is a sonnet about how destructive boredom can be

The music I have chosen is The Buzzcocks' "Boredom" from their "Spiral Scratch" EP

Boredom Ossifies Turns Thoughts To Stone

What Was Once Your Flesh Now Turns To Bone

Once You Could Move But Now Statuesque

Your Blood Now Is Gone, You Are Grotesque

Boredom Stopped You Dead, Right In Your Tracks

Your Body Now Is Your Soul’s Stone Casque

You Want To Scream Your Body Is Dead

Your Mind Is Still Here, Life Force Is Bled

Boredom Killed You, It’s Yours Forever

A Life Of Pain, Salvation Never

Now Nothing Will Change, Always The Same

Boredom Made You Lose This Deadly Game

πŸ’€

You Are Nothing Now Your Self Is Gone

But The Pain Stays Burning On And On

Ooooo, I love being bored because it's so blissful, lol! But I loved seeing the dark side of boredom. Really scary. Loved your poem!

Great job my friend. Boredom can be the great motivator unfortunately to do either good or bad. But when inescapable it can be exactly as you have described.
