Gather round, viking brethren;

lay down your axes, your hammers

and lend me your ear,

for I have heard from the moon-kin

that an ancient burial ground

lies encircled by massive stones

once thought vacant, but nay -

a hoard of treasure awaits,

gathered by the work of a cultist

who once prowled these meadows

seeking pelts and blood

to hide their unnatural form

and live amongst us.

Buried alongside the treasure lies the graves

of those who sought to fell this beast;

be weary, as their bones still stir,

and the cultist - while well fed -

still thirsts for unburnt flesh.

    I feel like this is just the beginning of an epic tale that would be told around a fire after a feast. Excellent job and congrats on Top Story!

    The way you intertwine the wolf's mystique with human longing is both poetic and thought-provoking, creating a tapestry that feels timeless yet deeply personal.
