Autumn Leaves of Chang'an
It transforms the traditional theme of palace loneliness into a meditation on time and existence.

Act I: Palace Walls
She counts—bronze clepsydra—
A grain of sand, a heartbeat—
Moonlight frosts glazed tiles
Like abandoned psalms
Act II: Autumn Whispers
Crickets—slice the silence—
Weaving cages of gold thread
Night drums pierce nine gates—
While shadows stay lighter than wind
Act III: Unfinished Game
Black and white flee the go board
Candle wax hardens into amber dynasties
When the last ginkgo leaf falls—
Eternity—is but dust's rhyming scheme
