A rhyme I wrote in my high school - Satisfaction

A direction to your search for contentment

By Daisy CarmichaelPublished 3 months ago 1 min read

I had created this rhyme when I was young and in my high school. Back then, I was inspired by poets like William Wordsworth and Rabindra Nath Tagore. I still think it is one of the best rhymes I have written. Its simple, and solves a big problem existing in the world if understood correctly.

I titled it as "Satisfaction" when I wrote this. Read this and let me know your thoughts in the comment section:

Poverty is bad,

No poor is glad.

Thin from foot to head

And worrying about their bread.

--

The person having money,

His thoughts seem so funny.

Thinks, "What I have is bore

And I want to have some more"

--

An average Person feels,

"The rich is having meals,

Better comparing us"

And not happy thus.

--

The words greats had,

"The whole world is sad."

So, no one should compare

As happy are rare.
