HORSES FOREVER
The Palomino horses are one of the most favorite breeds among the royalty, thanks to their golden glistening coats and beautiful blonde manes. They are revered highly by the horse-lovers for their brilliant colors and hues since ancient times. They are all around the world and it should not come as a surprise to see them winning accolades at local horse shows, taking their place at the center stage among high-wigs, and even running wild among mustangs.

Life to 9th November 2020
As late as Saturday morning here in the UK there were indicators about the result of the US Presidential election, but nothing confirmed. One UK news service gave Joe Biden 254 electoral college votes and the incumbent 214. It still could have gone either way. Then during the mid- afternoon news was coming out that Joe Biden had effectively become the President Elect when Pennsylvania was called for him by the American news networks putting him over the 270 college votes required to win the election.

The All Alluring Equine
Beauty is found in the alluring language of the equine. There is something so precious about the serendipitous way in which horses come to choose their people, drawn to one another by an inexplicable force. Imagine the one thing that makes you most happy, just absorbing it, and becoming part of it. I once wrote a poem about what would become an actual moment in time for me years later.

A Horse Named Fire
My skin tells a story. Scars, flaws, and tattoos mark out the highs and lows of my life in a web of art and pain. Ask me about the two inch scar on my thigh and I’ll tell you about a dog on Easter Sunday when I was eight. Ask about the line at the base of my left thumb and I’ll tell you about my favorite mug - still missed - and how it left me with a permanent reminder of its breaking. But, of all the tales I could tell, there is one that marks out the steps taken between the child I used to be and the woman I became.

Be Prepared to Protect Your Horse From Biting Flies Year-Round
Most horses spend quite a lot of time in the pasture, where they can graze, exercise, and play. This pasture time is important for them, vital to their health and emotional well-being. Unfortunately, being outside also leaves them more susceptible to pests such as bot flies and biting flies that can make them miserable, cause skin irritation, and even cause health issues.

The Horses that whistle
In the never-ending fields, where the grass whispers with the morning mist, moving softly through each blade, the due droplets giving that morning freshness of fresh cut grass, with every breath and the sun shining down warming everything that it sees as the coldness of the early morning frost leaves like smoke rising from the ground, like a fire with no flame, the air fresh, the soft crunch of the frosty ice under your feet with every step crystallizing a cast of your memory, you stop and turn around to see your path of no return.

Lay Dee Pete
"Lay Dee Pete, get your butt back here!" I was dressed in riding boots and a brown velvet hard hat, and tears were flowing down my cheeks. Not from a fall, or anything that drastic. No, I was crying because my twelve-year-old Palomino Quarter Horse mare, Lay Dee Pete, had escaped and taken it upon herself to trot down one of the busiest streets in the town where I lived. So far, she'd trotted past my elementary school, past the bus loop, the local hospital, and was now on her way to the local fire station. I was trailing, miserable and afraid, down the street in her wake. She had her tail up jauntily. Just another blond out for an afternoon jog.

Most Legendary Horses of All Time
Horse racing is a fantastic sport. Not only is it one of the oldest sports in the world, but today, it is enjoyed all over the globe and the events can attract millions in prize money. As you can see, that’s pretty serious business. However, there’s a common theme that seems to constantly occur - the jockeys seem to get all the praise and attention. Well, we wanted to switch that stereotype on its head and give the horses the recognition they deserve.

American Buyers in Germany
Every dressage rider has dreamed of their ideal dressage horse. If you are an American and interested in buying your dream dressage horse chances are you've considered traveling to Germany to find your perfect dressage horse. I am not here to give you a step by step plan for how to buy a horse in Germany, but I do think you need to be prepared for how you will be approached once you arrive. Speaking as someone who worked in dressage stables you may not be flattered by the way German breeders and dealers view American clients. You may also want to think twice before spending thousands on shipping and handling to bring this dream horse home from Germany.
