dog
It's no coincidence that a dog is a man's best friend; they're more faithful than most other animals, and more faithful than many people.
How to Tell if Your Dog's Food is Causing Their Ear Infections?
Have you noticed that your dog’s ears seem to be in pain or smell bad? It could be an ear infection. Ear infections are common in dogs, and they usually go away on their own within a few days, but it’s important to know how to treat them so they don’t cause any long-term problems.

When I Meet Sasha
I never intended on getting a dog. It was just a normal May afternoon. I was out running errands and had to stop by a friends. I knew she had been breeding Yorkies for a while, so it wasn't a surprise when she escorted me into a dark, damp, room where a large kennel housed several tiny little pups.

A Doggone Disaster
I was crying at 3 am on the day of my dissertation deadline. With 8 hours left to submit the gargantuan project, a pounding migraine brewing behind my eyes, and the sense that all my hard work had been for nothing, I started to cry. You're probably wondering how I got in this position - why didn't I start sooner, right? Well, you'd be right to ask. I did start earlier you see - an accident involving a gerbil, a glass of wine, and my laptop set me back considerably.

Right Dog for You : Things You Should Consider before Deciding
Right Dog for You : Things You Should Consider before Deciding Right dog for you: In my previous article I had highlighted the factors that one should consider before deciding on whether you should buy a dog as pet or not. If you have decided to buy a puppy, then it is suggested you do a good homework before you get one home exactly the same way when you plan on buying a new car, doing all the research about different models and segments of cars, comparing them, trying to find out which one suits your situation and circumstances the most.

Hide and Seek
I have many fond memories involving dogs. My jack russel terrier who loved to hold his own leash when he went out for walks. Every time my cousin's giant pitbull laid down over my lap to ask for belly rubs. If I had to choose my favorite memory though, it would be teaching my dog "Yogy" to play 'Hide and Seek'. Many years ago in 2010, when I was young and in elementary school, my mom had gotten my sister and I a dog named Yogy. He was a tri-colored beagle who loved to eat everything including his toys, my toys and my family's wash clothes. Which, spoiler alert, came back to bite him in the butt. He was a pretty hyper dog at times, and I loved playing with him whenever I could. We obviously played fetch like all dog owners do, but one day I had a weird thought. "I wonder if I could play Hide and Seek with him." Now most people would just go "Nah that's a stupid idea", but I was determined to make it work.

Companion Calamities
It's been fifteen years since my dog passed away from old age, but I still have the memories. In 1993, my Aunt's Border Collie, Aurora, was pregnant, and she offered us first pick of the litter, once they were weaned. We also got to stay up late one weekend while they were born, but our parents hauled us home at around midnight.
