Pet stores sell products that make hamsters miserable
Hamsters are popular pets for a reason. They’re fluffy, soft and adorable. You can easily obtain one for about £20 or less from your local pet store, as well as everything you need to care for it. But what if I told you that many of these products are harmful and will make your hamster miserable?

Dog Adoption
There have been plenty of difficult and emotional times over the last twelve months. The effects of COVID-19 are affecting everyone in some way and to some extent. One of the saddest revelations from lockdown was Dog’s Trust reporting a significant increase in people giving up their rescue dogs when lockdown restrictions were originally eased in August and owners realised they couldn’t fully commit to their dog, whether it was dealing with their allergies or needing sensitive stomach dog food, their unique behaviours, or needing socialisation.

Cats V/S Dogs: An Unsolved Mystery
Pet owners are always on a war, dog owners consider their pets to be paw-fect (see the word play, I like it) and cat owners argue that their little babies are absolutely purr-fect (okay, I think I might be good at this), this has been going on from ages and there seems to be no stopping, at all (believe me I have seen fights becoming nasty because of this) but the poor souls who go to both kinds of parents for an advice on the same, what to do about the fix they are in? Confusing and utterly frustrating isn't it? (You will surely start pulling your hair and scratching your head anytime soon now, I know).

Love from Five Feet Away
I live with a rabbit. I say I live with a rabbit, rather than I own a rabbit, because the former feels more accurate to her understanding. Her name is Jemima and we have lived together for over eight years. I bought her from a backyard breeder in Seaford Vic when she was just six weeks old. She wasn’t meant to leave her family so soon, but the breeder’s dogs got out one morning and killed not only Jemima’s mother and father, but all siblings barring her and one other.

Things You Need to Know Before Getting a Dog
Growing up, I always wanted a dog. I loved animals and wanted to work with them some day as a marine biologist, veterinarian, or some kind of zoologist. My parents promised me on multiple occasions that we would get a dog yet they always found some excuse to explain why we never did. I became complacent in my pet-less life and held on to my wish of being able to work with pets in the future.

Dogs and Mental Health
I've always been an animal lover. In the late-90s my family adopted an English Springer Spaniel and every morning that dog would end up in the room I shared with my brother. We would take turns laying with him until we had to rouse ourselves for school, and when we got home, that dog would be at the door waiting for us. After having that dog for near ten years, he passed away at somewhere around the age of twelve or thirteen. My family was devastated. He'd become a family member, and with that, we loved him. Still, though, I never lost that love of dogs.

The Hope believe that owls can represent a warning against sorcery, while the Obijwe think owls relate to news of death. The Kikuyu of Kenya believe Owls are forewarning of death, whilst the Japanese think the owl is a symbol of luck. Good or bad, Owls are nocturnal and majestic creatures. They include over two Hundred species. It is believed they are found in most regions of the Earth.
