Why Is My Car Engine Meowing?
You came into our lives nearly 10 years ago, yet I still remember the day I found you like it was yesterday. At the time, I was still in high school and worked as a barista in our small hometown coffee shop. On this night, I was working late and closed the shop alone.

The Witch's Familiar
**Warning, many, many cat pictures ahead** I keep joking that when I answer the phone from now on I'm going to say, 'Hello Clara's Supernatural hotline, how can I help? Press 1, for ghosts, ghouls and poltergeists. Press 2, for any and all demonic activity up to and including possessions. Press 3, for general enquires, and 4 for anything else. If you require a love potion please hang-up.'

How a pet finds you when it's just right
I've always been a cat lover. Cats are awesome, majestic creatures, albeit a tad fickle and temperamental. You have to earn a cat's love, it's not just handed to you "free of charge". And once given, never take it for granted, for it's a precious thing. Adopting a cat changes your life; you just need to have the right perspective, keep an open mind, and more importantly, an open heart, and an abundance of lessons will be coming your way.

Kenny My Pup!
When I was young, we always had animals around in our house. I don't remember a time where we didn't have at least four animals in the house. Since I was 12, I haven't gotten close to any animals in my house. I have my moments where I think they're cute and I'll give them pettings, but they never really struck a chord with my heart. That was till my husband and I met our current pup, Kenny.

Sugarbear The Queen
Sugarbear When my cat Sugarbear come into my life had happened when I was with this guy named Bill. I had dated Bill for almost four years. When Bill and I first got together, I had just divorced my husband. I was in an awkward situation at that time. While I was dating Bill, I was still living in the same house as my husband. Where we lived, we were not allowed to have any animals at all.

An Emotional Support Stray
I am a dog person! I have always loved dogs even though I’m terrified of small dogs due to a traumatic event where I was bit on the neck by one as a 7-year-old child. Big dogs are my favorite. St. Bernards, Huskies, Wolf mixes, German Shepherds, etc. Growing up I had two dogs, a German Shepherd/Collie mix named Buddy and a big dog named Sampson that to this day I am unaware of what breed he was. As you can see, I love dogs. I never once thought about having a pet cat! I didn’t want a cat! That changed one day in 2006.

He loves us more
My family and I decided to go to our local animal shelter with my mom. She wanted to check out the dogs to bring one home to help keep the raccoons off her deck. They had quite a few dogs to choose from but only one was the most beautiful. Tigger was the sweetest dog of all, so timid and calm.
