My Furever Baby
Let me just start by saying I am no stranger to pets. Growing up, my father always had a string of animals going through our house. We went through so many dogs it was insane. But he was never satisfied with only dogs. We had cats, iguanas, rabbits, birds, snakes, hamsters, turtles, and fish. We were very lucky children to be surrounded by so many different kinds of animals. It was amazing growing up the way I did, and it fed my love of animals today.

Lucy
As the morning sunrise peeks between the blinds, she lays with unfurled paws on the cushion beside me, feet twitching as she slumbers half-buried under the blanket. At the sound of the first alarm, she stretches, head lolling back just enough so that deep chocolate eyes can glance at me. Am I stirring, or snoozing the alarm for another few moments? When it stops and I shift, she bolts from the plush surface and dives to find her toy of choice for the day; its hard to choose sometimes, but she makes a quick decision and nimble limbs lunge back to the couch with her.

My Old Coworker
In my eyes, school can count as work. Firstly, you are completing paperwork so someone can criticize it. Secondly, you are reading and reviewing material nobody else in their right mind would want to read and review. Thirdly, you are on a regular schedule of rising early in the morning for classes you may or may not want to attend and staying up way beyond what is healthy for the average human being to complete the assignments for the day because someone else needed you all day long.

Spiders On My Truck
Spiders On My Truck By Roberto Alago Working animals and pets share a special bond with their handlers and companions. Often, each can anticipate the actions or reactions of the other. They seem to sense each other's feelings and at times, express joy or sadness in reaction to the other's actions, behavior or mood.
