That Time a Kitten Saved Me
I don’t know about the rest of you, but I have noticed something about home offices. A lot of them have pets. I, for one, absolutely love going on zoom meetings with folks who I know have pets. It has become an important part of office culture to introduce our peers to our furry coworkers, and I am absolutely living for it. As is the case for many of us, I have been working remotely for over a year now. Remote work suits me. I am the type of person who is most productive while in a comfortable space, and of course, nearby my children (not one of them human). As 2021 crawled by, my life has changed enormously. As most of my life tends to be, my story can be begun with an interaction I had with an animal.

My Sweet Little Friend
I remembered that day when I was coming the home and I saw a sweet little pup in my backyard, his play in the mud and his body was dirty to the mud. I was checking him and I was realized, he was injured & tired so I rescue the dog and brought it to my house.

The Lion That Rules Our Hearts
Dear reader, I present to you pure perfection with the glorious name that only a king can have - Leo. He is a four-year-old cocker spaniel who roams around his kingdom completely convinced he is human. Before I tell a story about how he made my workdays a thousand times better, I must tell a few more in order to illustrate why this lovely being deserves all the love in the world and why it will never be enough no matter how much of it he is given daily.

My Sweet, Fur-ocious Boy
I was three months pregnant with my daughter when my partner and I came across my furbaby in a Walmart parking lot. An old lady had the last puppy and said everyone took the rest of the litter. He had a sad puppy look to him; however, he was excited to see us from observing his wagging tail. I wanted to pet him only, but my significant other insisted we bring him home to raise him as our protector since he was going away for work many weeks at a time. The idea of saving the puppy was also grateful. We quickly took him with us and brought him inside Walmart to shop for dog supplies.

A Pittbull's Journal
June 3rd: Mom has been working from home for 4 months now. It’s great because I can sleep in or lay beside her on wherever she is, she gives us treats throughout the day, and I can go outside whenever I want. This last thing drives Mom crazy because I learned some new tricks from Tatiana.

The Transition of Spike
This is the story about the time my cat, Spike, came to college with me. Spike is an eight-year-old ragamuffin who is one of the most laid-back cats you will ever meet, but with the fact that he had never been anywhere other than my house ever since I had adopted him, the adjustment was a little rough. He is also a registered Emotional Support Animal, which is why I was able to bring him with me in the first place.
