Top 5 Dog Breeds For Active Lifestyles
I once made a comment to a dog walking client of mine about it being a win-win situation because of the fact that I walk dogs as a part time job. It gives me an opportunity to be more active while doing what I love. I don't generally consider myself an "active" person and I certainly can't keep up or stick with a strenuous workout routine. The only thing that's kept my butt moving is the fact that I get to spend time helping other people exercise their pups.

Ori v. Dragon
Ori came from the streets. Or, more accurately, from the porch. Set outside by an overwhelmed owner, she waited all night in the rain until discovered by Sucker #1 (me) who promptly threw her and her filthy cage into my car and drove off after a twelve hour overnight shift. She was a shivering timid thing who curled up against my neck for the ride, watching the sun come up as we parked at my house. My intent was to drive her to the shelter after some sleep but she caught my eye for too long and, after a few beats of uninterrupted contact, decided she was part of my menagerie.

There's WFH and then there's WFH with a needy pup. Top Story - October 2021.
Arlo Moon is my child. He's a little different in that he has four legs, is furry, can't speak proper English, and has a tail, but he's my son nonetheless. And in case you're wondering, yes, I am a crazy dog lady who spoils Arlo and often prefers his company over that of nearly anyone else. And because I am fully remote, I spend all day, every day, with Arlo (and I wouldn't have it any other way).

Luna
This is my best friend Luna. While she might be our families dog I have never considered her as my pet. Therefore I will never force her to wear an awkward Halloween costume I know she will hate and rip off with her teeth. Once we try to put a sweater on her and a few minutes later found it shred to pieces in the backyard because Luna is wild just like me Jose E.

Ryu the Pumpkin Pirate
Ryu’s family moved to Jamaica and was unable to take her. So, she found a forever home with me. I grew up around lizards running around the Sonoran desert but never had any that we kept in a cage. This was going to be a whole new adventure for her and me.
