The Ballad of Chuck and Roxanne: A Viking Tail
This little epic poem was inspired by the shenanigans of Charlie (the cat) and Roxi (the dog). These two are notorious beggars when it comes to food and Charlie especially is a bottomless pit, a black hole that devours everything in reach when the fancy strikes him. Roxi has always been an unwitting accomplice to Charlie’s wiles, but she certainly has her own sassy means of getting her way in the kitchen.

Dog-Gone-Good Halloween
Rosie, Foxie, Tobie These three dogs are the most amazing all around! They put up with me and my daughter; who is most problematic towards them? My daughter, as if there were any doubt! The three of them are loving, caring, and compassionate. Yes, dogs have feelings! I have been around dogs long enough to know this is true. They provide emotional support for me and physical correction for my daughter, who is disabled. It is genuinely overwhelming what animals will endure and still have a wagging tail for us at the end of the day! I give them special treats for doing extra extraordinary things for my daughter, and if they feel she is getting too angry, they come to hide behind me as they know I won't let anything happen to them.

Royal Robes
Behold the regalness of her Ladyship, Dame Paintbrush! No seriously, she may be under three feet tall at the shoulder but this little gal was large and in charge out at the farm. She ruled her domain well and fairly (though she could always be bribed with some good food), so when it came time provide her Ladyship with new robes nothing short of befitting royalty would do.

A Wet Ball of Black Fur.
I am weak. By that, I mean I know my own limits - and the only reason I am not telling you this story face to face right now, is because I know that I have not yet built the strength to resist your siren’s call. I know that if I were faced with you again, in the right setting, I would delve right back into everything that could have, or should have been.

"Ms. Kitty Fit's"
Ms. Kitty Fit’s by Billi Lynn Holt She is still hanging on through much adversity in her life, Ms. Kitty, is an aged female feline of 15 years but you could not figure it to be because of her delicate size. Ms. Kitty is a longhair Maine Coon breed. She is not the typical size nor has a sour temperament for a Main Coon cat. Her physical weight is under nine pounds, and she still resembles her size as a kitten. As she ages without the outward appearance of years of life that has been bestowed on her, Ms. Kitty’s supernatural spirit glows from within and warms our family’s hearts. It’s as if she was destined to remain in our family’s life for a long, long time and not change the purity and innocence of her being. When we initially volunteered to bring her home as an angel of our pet family, she was the runt of the litter and covered in dried excreta. As she was introduced to her new family, into a gentle bath she went, coming out as fresh as a daisy.
