I Married a Herpetophile (Pt. 2)
Chapter 4—Snakes as Pets Snakes, like iguanas, make good pets if you don't have an urge to run screaming from the room if you see one. They are very quiet and stay in their tanks as long as you have a really heavy book or rock on top of the cover (I don't take chances).

I Married a Herpetophile
Preface A herpetophile is someone who loves reptiles (like snakes, iguanas, geckos, etc). A person who marries someone is a person who loves that person. A person marrying a herpephile does not necessarily love reptiles, but it helps if she cannot run screaming from the room (or house) where a reptile is present, and with a herpephile, reptiles are likely to be present almost anywhere.

If Animals Could Talk...
I am quite certain people have asked themselves from time to time about what if animals could talk. Seriously, suppose for one second animals gained the ability to speak. What would they tell us? Knowing the Right Time to Sell Newborn Puppies
In earlier times, people have weaned newborn puppies from the mother as early as six weeks or when they first begin to eat soft puppy food. This is not recommended especially in toy breeds. In these times, breeders tend to release puppies to the new owner at age 8-12 weeks. The toy size puppies are very fragile and need all the nutrients and vitamins that they can garner from their mothers. Much like newborn babies, it is essential that newborn puppies spend as much time with their mother as possible. Often the mother does not leave the puppies for the first twenty-four hours.

The View from the Dog House Pt. 15
We always remember Daddy's birthday even though he died five years ago when we were only two. We, of course, are not boozy boys, but apparently Mr. Sweep, one of our predecessors, was very partial to a nip or two and on one notable occasion helped himself to someone's pint of beer whilst out in the pub. Apparently he also used to do the rounds when parties were held, helping himself from people's glasses. But not us!

Dangerous Animals and Insects: Keep Your Pets Safe
Our pets love the outdoors. It is no surprise! It is the primal nature of all animals. It is also important to keep our pets safe from harm while they venture. Even a quick stroll or trip out to the bathroom can end up being trouble.
