Personal growth has become fashionable.

Personal growth has become fashionable. In comparison to many others, this is an excellent and welcome one. We realize that the word “spiritual progress” irritates many people because of the inquisitive and pestering guru-lovers. They are, nevertheless, completely safe. At times, it’s even beneficial.

There have always been bogus sciences and their adherents who went their own way, in the wrong path, but it was for their own personal betterment.

Today, we’ll discuss the fundamental features of personal growth, without which it’s possible to say that you don’t progress.

1.Personal growth necessitates a lot of effort.

An adult with a developed personality is mature, joyful, and content with himself and his life. He is morally and spiritually mature and capable of taking responsibility for himself and others. Not just fundamental selfish demands, which he prefers to meet throughout his life, mainly on credit, are at the top of his life values.

Man who has embarked on the path of self-development expends enormous effort, continually developing his productive habits. He works quite hard. And he is frequently confronted with unpleasant realities about himself. He notices them and makes modifications to them.

2. Personal development takes time

Changes are frequently overlooked by others, even the individual affected. Change seldom occurs in an instant.

People do not mature in a week’s time. Or in six months. Or in a year’s time. They are always going through this process. If you know someone who spent ten days in Bali and then returned winged and began teaching everyone the rules of the Universe, don’t trust them; they’re just a passing trend.

3. Personal growth requires experience and analysis rather than information.

You will not gain more experience or knowledge by memorizing the Great Soviet Encyclopaedia from cover to cover. Learn to put your knowledge to use in real life. And then there’s the analysis. Who knows, you could receive a tiny bump if you compare and examine the encyclopedic data. Except that this is a long and winding road. It is far more intriguing to live. You can only grow if you live. As a result, persons who do not put their knowledge into practice cannot be termed sincere followers.

4. Personal growth necessitates change.

Many individuals spend years repeating the same thing again and over, yet are frustrated because they always receive the same outcome. It makes obvious sense: if the movie hero died, the hero is unlikely to live the next time you see the movie. As a result, the person who has chosen the road of self-development will alter their behavior pattern, but will not expect others to do likewise.

5. On the road to personal progress, there are no errors.

There are new perspectives, lessons, and experiences. Failures are perceived in this way by persons who take a conscientious approach to life. If a person’s life is filled with negativity and he blames it on the government, his neighbors, or his parents, he is at the beginning of his route or has not yet taken the path of progress.

6. Reviewing the past is vital for self-development.

Looking forward to a bright future without looking back is impossible. It is vital to reflect on prior experiences, particularly unfavorable ones. It’s crucial to get a great experience out of them. Some jobs may take a lifetime to complete: you will return to some traumas, disappointments, and sufferings over and over again, attempting to forgive and forget… Nobody claims, however, that traveling the road of self-development will automatically lead to the summit of Everest. This is a challenging climb!

7. Take a peek inside yourself.

Man begins his search for and awareness of those things that actually make him happy, things that are just required for him and not for others. This stage might persist for a long period, perhaps a lifetime. A lack of self-confidence and self-worth, as well as a high degree of anxiety, might make the process more difficult. However, the person eventually awakens to a state of relative peace and stability. Inner assurance in oneself, tomorrow, and those around one. Then comes the most thrilling part.

8. There is no one-size-fits-all approach to growth.

This includes both approaches, words, and lessons. Youth, passion, maximalism, restriction, and… a platform that reaches to the foot of the rungs of self-development does not mean the first rung.

One of the first things we must comprehend is that there is no such thing as truth. There is just intermediate truth, which aids us in some phases, but we must not convert them into dogmas, since this would be degeneration. There are no correct or incorrect teachings. Everyone possesses a grain of truth that must be utilized. And you have to go on.

According to Buddha, man has only one responsibility: to be happy. This sentence has so much depth that you could go on and on about it. This is not just a universal drive, but also the aim and meaning for all psychologically healthy individuals. Otherwise, everyone is content with their own bliss. All that is needed is to find the recipe. To be happy, you must first grow yourself.
