Why do we need a goal in the first place?

Make a goal!

By The Breatharian BloggerPublished 4 years ago 3 min read

We read and hear a lot about how important it is to have goals in life, but do we really need a goal to achieve them? Many people have aspirations, but not everyone follows through on them. The majority of people lead an average life, with no overarching goals or even minor objectives. What is the reason for this? To achieve a goal, you must be driven by a strong sense of purpose. The goal must be so essential that you are willing to make significant sacrifices in order to achieve it.

To achieve your goals, you must be willing to step outside of your comfort bubble, which is not always easy for most people. The majority of people do not set lofty goals. They don't consider it significant, and that's fine with me.

It is critical to have at least one goal in mind. It does not have to be a major undertaking. It can be something straightforward, and it does not have to have anything to do with one's position, money, or possessions to be meaningful.

In reality, even people who live a simple life and have no specific goals have objectives. This may appear to be strange, but it is not. A goal does not always have to be something that you plan for, write down, and work hard towards achieving intentionally.

When it comes to achieving goals, setting them is essential for those who wish to do so. They may not be significant to anyone other than the person who is attempting to achieve them. Occasionally, even after accomplishing a goal, one does not feel a sense of accomplishment or victory.

We imagine what it would be like to achieve our goal and anticipate feeling and enjoying happiness and victory as a result. This motivates us to continue working toward our goal. However, even when we achieve our goals, we do not always experience the joy and contentment that we had hoped for. This means that before beginning to work on a goal, we must be absolutely certain that we want to put in the necessary time and effort to see it through to completion.

Is it true that people who have goals are happier than people who have no goals? This is not always the case. Everyone and everything possesses a life force that strives to manifest itself in the physical world as best it can. Take, for example, a blade of grass that grows and manages to wiggle its way out of a crack in a rock or pavement. It must be driven by an intense desire to expand. Is anything accomplished as a result of this? No, it is simply the life force attempting to communicate with us.

It is the same with regard to individuals. There is a life force trying to convey itself through them, and they are aware of it. When the life force expresses itself strongly, the individual sets goals for himself or herself and works hard to achieve them in order to leave a lasting impression on the world. Occasionally, the life force articulates itself in a more subdued manner, and the person leads a straightforward and unexceptional existence. It is not always necessary to set goals for oneself. It is the desire to take action, to be involved, and to carry out tasks. It is the life force that seeks to express itself, and the outcome is not always important; only the action, the doing, is important in some cases.

You may wonder why it is necessary to have a life goal. If a big goal for you is something like owning a company, purchasing a Ferrari, or taking a trip around the world, keep in mind that this is not the case for everyone. Many people believe that setting a goal means settling for something much simpler, and they will be content with much less. The majority of people do not desire or require lofty ambitions. Their aspirations are typically to have excellent work, enough cash to meet their needs, a place to live, good health, and a significant other.
