What People Fail To Understand About Power
The Three Keys To Guide The Future We Desire

What is power?
The definition of power is the ability to direct or influence the behavior of others or the course of events.
Power is one of those things that so many seek...
Because it allows them to have better control over their lives.
If you can influence others' behaviors...
And the course of events...
You can better ensure your place in the future.
This causes many people to seek to accumulate power in their lives.
The more power you have, the more secure you are.
But this is what the vast majority of people completely fail to understand about power.
Power has importance, yes...
But it is not everything.
There is an old saying...
Never bring a knife to a gunfight.
The idea is that you do not want to have the lesser power in a fight.
But here is the thing that people fail to understand about that same phrase...
Just because it is not ideal to bring a knife to a gunfight...
Does not mean that the person with a knife will not prevail.
If the one who holds the gun does not know how to use the gun...
Fails to use it properly...
Or the person with a knife is skilled and crafty enough...
The person with a knife can both overcome the one with a gun...
And perhaps claim the gun for themselves.
Power alone is not the determinant of success.
Power must be utilized well...
It must be focused...
Precise...
And well-utilized.
Failure to accomplish any of these can cause one to lose the power they have.
If you believe that power alone will solve your problems...
Or absolutely guarantee your success or place in the future...
You are mistaken.
Power can be helpful...
Perhaps even needed...
But having any amount of power is only as useful as your understanding of how to wield it successfully.
There is another level to this as well...
Which has more power...
One person with a gun...
Or ten thousand people with knives?
When it comes to power...
There are multiple dimensions to power.
Individual physical power has a place...
But it means little when you are alone.
Power is found in unity.
The force with the greatest level of unity...
Often has a significant advantage in terms of power.
If you sow disunity...
Hatred...
Fear...
The eventual result is that you will cause others to unite against you.
If you cause enough people to unite against you...
You will lose the power that you have.
Eventually...
You can become overwhelmed...
And the larger the forces against you...
The less important the level of power you hold.
There is one final thing to understand about the power that we hold.
Think of it like this...
The one with a gun has a choice...
They can use their power to ignite fear and cause disunity...
Or...
They can utilize their position...
Utilize the power to influence others...
Utilize the power to influence the course of events...
To create a more unified world.
It might not be the entire world...
It may only be a small part...
But small parts can grow...
And the more unity there is...
The better our chances are to create a world where we need to use what power we have less frequently.
With power, there will always be some need to utilize it...
Even sometimes in ways we would prefer not to...
But with that power, we can influence the future in ways where it is needed less often.
We must understand how to use that power...
We need to create unity with it...
And when these combine, we gain the ability to determine paths that have better results for as many as possible.

Yes, it's completely pointless to have power and not know how to use it!
