The Lucky Travellers
Grey, angry clouds loomed large across the sky while torrential rain pelted against my windows with such force that I genuinely thought the glass panes might shatter into pieces. It was a typical July morning in wet and windy Wales, and as usual we were stuck indoors. My two grumpy toddlers let out angry wails of pent-up frustration, for we had been cooped up in our tiny house for what seemed like an eternity. It was almost as if the dull, gloomy weather reflected my emotional state; lingering postpartum OCD, feelings of isolation and a lack of money had left me feeling just as grey and angry as those looming, rain filled clouds.

Nine Years of Growing
One night me and the wife were up talking. Both the boys had already been put to bed. We were talking about change and how we used to act. My wife opens up with the comment "I would never marry 17 year old you." When questioned further about this statement she explained a little more in depth about what she meant. For her, when I was 17 I was a bit of a douche bag (and she wasn't wrong). We were dating when I was 17, and thinking back she wasn't sure why we stayed together. To be honest neither could I. As any young couple at that age, our relationship had some toxic moments of jealousy and self-confidence. These issues led to some immature arguments and a lot of stress that we don't deal with today due to how our relationship has grown.

How to Be Successful
Creating Goals 1) Define what success means to you. If you don't know what this means to you, you can't succeed. Everyone has a different view of success. [1] True success comes from achieving the things that make you the happiest in life. Once you have determined this, you can set goals that are meaningful and important to you.

Dreams are actually important
Dreams motivate us to achieve our goals. Each of us is a one-of-a-kind individual in this place. We all aspire to soar to new heights. Who wants to live a life that is just like everyone else's? After all, it's pointless to live a life that isn't going anywhere. We all have dreams. Some of us cheer them on and help them reach their goals. Some people keep waiting for things to happen on their own, while others are unsure about what to do next. Let's start with the basics first, and that is to dream about your aims and ambitions.

Your success is attainable or sustainable
The desire to continually improve your life is one of your most basic needs. It's part of your nature to know that you're getting more and more every day. It is very satisfying to know that you are influencing and improving your environment through your influence. It is the key to living a happy and fulfilling life. To some extent, we are all striving for some kind of success. We keep looking for ways to have more, have more and get more, thinking that once we "have it all," we will be happy and life will be perfect. Then, we can relax, relax and enjoy life.

The Joy of Breathing
Every day, for hours at a time, I struggle to breathe, and ultimately, keep myself alive. I use my years as a former Acute Care nurse to evaluate my symptoms, determine whether or not I'm stable enough to treat myself at home, or whether I need to call yet another ambulance to take me to the ED. I live my life in 10/10 pain from constant muscle contractions. I administer an Epipen when the muscles in my diaphragm and neck clamp down and I stop breathing...and then I go on with my life.

How To Make The Smartest Investment Ever
Everybody wants to get on in life, to make enough progress to have a better quality of life, to enjoy to the maximum the life that they have. For some people it all seems so easy whilst others appear to struggle every step of the way. I have had it both ways and I have to tell you it is not about working harder, it's all about working smarter. At times the harder I worked the less I got, and vice versa. There have been times when I have made a good deal of money doing very little at all. The secret for me was one very, very smart investment I made in my mid twenties. In just three years I went from earning 100 dollars a week to 200 dollars an hour! I went from living in a shack to a beautiful mansion and although it didn't last forever for all sorts of personal reasons, I made it and have never looked back.
