What I Learned in Quarantine - Lies I've Told Myself
One thing that has been pretty consistent through my life is that I’ve always felt like I never had enough time to get to do the things I wanted to. Thanks to 2020 being the weirdest year in my living memory I have had a lot more free time than I’d ever thought possible. With that comes lots of time for self-reflection, and I’ve been able to call myself out on some of the many lies I had told myself over the years.

Confession of being Emotionally UNavailable
I ran away at any type of genuine intimacy. I had guys wanting to give me the love I need and deserve. Only turning around and running away in a completely different direction. Instead, I run after guys who were emotionally closed off. Leaving me constantly having to question my worth and if I was good enough.

Removing Negative Blockers through Journaling
Journaling is for more than young people. It allows you to remove the negative blockers by releasing them through the written word. It also helps to attract into your life the things that you want by focusing on what you want.

The stories we tell ourselves and the damage they may cause to our relationship
Ever been on a first date, or just around people and when everything seems to be going pretty well and you’re being your social self, but then the negative self-talk begins and your newly developed confidence is nowhere to be seen?

Manic Man
Let's say, for the sake of argument, I self diagnose as "insane". A videogame told me once that the "definition" of "Insanity" is "doing the same, exact thing over and over, with the intention, hope, or belief that a different result will occur". I would then have to conclude that I adhere to this method of thinking and thus, there is a pattern I have found to be the "end all, be all" of tactics, my "Ace in the hole", even when the white rabbit dug so damn deep.

I gave away my freedom.
An old friend once told me that fear was a necessary part of life. I disagreed. Still, he argued that fear could be a useful tool, a drive or something of the sort. At the time, I knew I didn’t share his views but I didn't really know the reason why. So, when he insisted and I couldn’t come up with a rebuttal I was thoroughly convinced about, I basically gave in and let it go.

Who am I?!
Do you have those moments, where you just lay in bed thinking "who am I"? You are not alone. This is very common nowadays and it's more alarming. The feeling of not knowing who you are is unsettling. The younger generation is put on pressure to be the best and set that perfect tone for our future. When the case should be to accept the flaws and not know what the future might hold...I struggle with the unknown of what could have been and what would be.

Words I Write By Amy Ruth Emam
Greetings Soul Brothers & Sisters. Today's topic is going to be about the power of our thoughts. With all that is going on around us in this world today, it can be hard to stay in the positive mind zone that we need to have the positive energy flow within and around us. Over the years I have read many books where author's say 'Your thoughts are Powerful.' I agree 100%. My good friend, Kathryn Pape, has written several books on this topic. Her teachings just clicked with me. She shares about how it is important to use words to boost your inner positive energy which in turn helps to heal your body. I have learned so much from her. She always teaches and offers Angelic Sound Balancing which is energy and sound healing by the use of tuning forks. All so fascinating to learn and then add into your daily life. You can really feel a huge difference in your life. I am sure Kathryn will not mind the name drop. She has a book out that I helped edit and create images for. I just love this book so much. It really is like creating magic once you apply it to your life. So many self help books teach about how negative vs. positive thinking. Not so many lay it out there for you terms to be used in your daily life. Stay away from terms like I hate and acknowledge that YOU dis - LIKE what you use to hate BECAUSE of what ever emotion or emotions it is causing you at that moment. How can you make it a positive so you will feel better enjoyment in your life moments? [Yes, Kathryn Pape is just simply amazing. I have loved getting to know her and learn her teachings inside and out. I know you will as well. ]
