Ways to calm yourself during this pandemic

Hey my name is sey and I know it’s a very hard time right now we have the coronavirus and the incident of George floyd may he rest in peace. During this time you can be under a lot of struggle with finances or just feel sad in general well there’s many ways you can make your self calm and relax just let you Mike go of everything.

SO here are some good things and reasons that could help you during this hard time:

•Talk to someone about what your having a hard time about it often helps memorising your brain

•Sit in a room yourself and Put some headphone’s on listen to calm music or beach waves pretend to be somewhere where you really want to go

•close your eyes and think about your thought’s what’s bothering you

•Sit and breath in and out often releases stress from your body

•Go for a walk and clear your mind let the wind or little breeze slide against your face and just think about the something else like nature

•Got any pets? Spend more time with them often helps you with happiness

•Think about the good times and you know one day that this will all be over one day or another

•believe in yourself you and yourself is the only thing that can get through this and make it to the end

•eat your favourite food it’s often brings happiness and joy and stress out of your body (one of my favourites)

•Finally other people are going through the same thing as you and we all care about each other there’s millions of people suffering from anxiety and stress so look up on the internet and find friends with the same difficulties and start speaking don’t worry because we all believe in you and we are all in this together

**A STORY ABOUT ZIE**

Zie was a 13 year old Asian boy. His life took a lot of ups and downs so enjoy a story of a 13 year old with mental health.

Zie goes to school he often get bullied people call him "Paki" "Big nose" and "Terrorist" Well he get use to it they always call him that.

One Day Zie was walking to school and saw a bunch of the kids that call him names they approach Zie and started beating him up they shouted out "Ha fat paki bastard" and "Im going to send this to the whole school bitch"

They kept going and made him bleed and gave him a black eye. They eventually stopped after they saw someone walking their way. Zie got up and ran home because he was embarrassed that someone was going to see him.

His parents saw him asked him about his black eye. Zie shouted at them and said "shut up you guys don't care" in his language. He went in his room and locked him self in and started crying. He checked social media and saw himself getting beaten up it really really hurt him.

That day he was ready to end his life he left his room to take a shower and his mum sneaked in to drop some food and clean the room up a little. Zie left his laptop open and it had a picture of a knife. Obviously being a parent she had to she what its was bout. Then she saw something that shocked her mind.

Zie's mum saw his history and it was terrifying there was results of "how do i kill myself" and "I dont want to live anymore i just want to die" and many more other things which is to explicit his mum was in tears and called 999 because she did not know what to do.

Luckily the police came right in time because when Zie was in the shower he was actually going to kill himself in theirs the police found paracetamol and a kitchen life which Zie used to wright die on his wrist. The police came and broke the bathroom door open and stopped him immediately.

If his mum did not walk in that day they would've not even seen her son anymore. Zie stared getting help by therapy and speaking to other people the same age and same problem He learned that it don't matter what happened in the past it matters of what happens in the future and he is the one that makes his one.

He is now doing excellent he has his own business and has a family. Unfortunately he learned the hard way but you can learn the easy way please speak to someone about your mental awareness or if anythings wrong you can speak to anyone in the world.
