The Art of Loving Yourself — Part 1 of 8
The Past What does it mean to have self-compassion? It is to smile at oneself. It is being supportive, kind, and caring, honoring and respecting my needs, and holding myself in a safe and loving space. It creates ease in living.

3 steps to make faster and fearless decisions in life
Be fearless and confident while taking important decisions of life. It’s been 6 months since I started working on an important 5-year goal #A. It was super clear to me. It was so important that without this I can’t achieve other bigger goal #B of my life. I was very excited to achieve ‘A’. I was moving at a good speed, working very hard, and focused on my core skills to acquire it.

Mindfulness
With so much going on in the world, it is easy to feel overwhelmed and even numb. I think of this general feeling of nothing, numb like sitting on your feet as a young child. Lying on your feet so long, they would fall asleep. How, like this child, you would laugh as the blood started to rush back to your toes. This rushing sensation felt like a good tickle from a loved one.

Why your self-talk matters
Why your self-talk matters “The wireless telegraph is not difficult to understand. The ordinary telegraph is like a very long cat. You pull the tail in New York, and it meows in Los Angeles. The wireless is the same, only without the cat.” — Albert Einstein

What I Learn When People Are Too Focus On The Past
I was watching a drama the other day when I came across a scene that makes me wonder. In that scene, the lead actor is asking the lead actress about her ex-lover and why does she keep hung on the past until she forgets to live in the moment and appreciate the good things that currently happening in her life now.

Self-Love
With more people discussing the importance of mental health and self-care, the concept of loving yourself has become a prominent topic of discussion. However, what most people fail to mention is the lengthy process involved with self-love and the continuous battle to stay on the right track towards acknowledging your own worth. In other words, self-love does not happen overnight – it takes time, effort and a lot of internal reflection.

Change
Change. What is change? This is a question I have asked myself so many times before. What is change, what does change mean to me? As I look around the world, I see so many different things, different people, different places, and different circumstances. I see a world, a place in complete and total chaos. Nations in distress. Homes turn into rubble. Lands turned into war zones. We hear time and time again, "together we can change the world." but can we really change the world and if we could where do we start? How do you change a world who rages and fight over their many differences? How do you change a system that's been put in place, to keep the inhabitants of the nation in which they live, oppressed and controlled? How do you change a world where society says it's not ok to be different from others? How do you change a world where a person is judge by the color of their skin or the background of their nationality rather than being judge by the character of their heart? How do you change a world where people try to think for you as if your not smart enough to think for yourself? How do you change a world where a person is not just oppressed in their community but they also have to face cruel judgement at home also? How do you change a world where people think how much money you save is more important than the money you spend to feed a person who is hungry? How do we change our world, to be honest I'm not sure if we can change the entire world but I think I know where we start. We don't start with our communities, not even our own homes. We start with our own hearts. The way I see it is every person, every man, woman, boy, and girl is individually made which means we all get a chance to say who we are going to be to ourselves, our families, our communities, and even the impact we each will have on the world. For example racism will not change because the government put laws in place against racism and discrimination; racism starts in the heart of man. If a person hates someone because of skin tone or nationality that is considered racism but that can change if a racist person chooses to get know a person for who they are rather than judging based off of skin tone or nationality, because we are all different even if we come from the same national background. Change comes when a mother chooses to embrace her daughter's love for sports rather than ballet or a father embraces his son's love for ballet rather than sports. Change starts within. Change you, change your home, change your community, change the world.
