Everything Happens for a Reason
Let me set the scene for you. I was sitting in my room, eating an edible and remembered there was a documentary on Mushrooms I had been wanting to watch but never got around to it, and I thought, hmm what better time than now? I lit some candles, turned on my star projector, cozied up in my bed and got completely lost in this film.

The End is a Good Place to Start a Story
The most famous story I know that started at the End was ‘Rebecca’ written by Daphne de Maurier. The story starts with a dream and a flashback to a beautiful home called Manderley, now deserted. Nature is encroaching on the ancestral estate of the heroine’s husband, Maxim de Winter. The story draws the reader in to continue reading to the very end, to find out why such a tragic state befell a once beautiful home, destroyed by fire.

Finding Motivation to Push Past Burnout
Just breathe, keep working, take a few minutes to do something just for you. Does any of that sound familiar when you say "I don't know what's wrong with me. I'm just burnt out"? I know people mean well, but that advice doesn't always work, especially when you've went from normal stress to a burnout that's so severe it's essentially a form of depression.

Three Powerful Methods to Raise Self-Awareness to The Roof
Battling problems is an inevitable process of life. This process nurtures personal growth if problems are clearly evaluated and lessons are well-learned. However, a problem tends to repeat itself if maladaptive coping methods and same unworkable solutions are applied. A predisposing cause to poor problem solving skills is due to lack of self-knowledge. Lack of self-knowledge often leads to unclear perceptions and unconscious decisions.

Shsh! here's a secret ingredient to lift up your mood!
After a long day at work, you may have returned home exhausted. Perhaps you've encountered stress as a consequence of a job emergency. Maybe you had a quarrel with a close relative. It's possible that you've lost a crucial contest. Or perhaps you've lost a significant deal. Your emotions will encourage you to return home after a trauma or even when you are unhappy. To Relax and Rejuvenate. Your injuries should be healed more quickly when you are at home and therefore the phrase "Home Sweet Home" has its meaning and relevance. When we really seek psychological or societal security, we withdraw to our own spaces. This is because our homes define us as human beings. They are the places that have been curated by us and we feel the most comfortable there to let our guards down. Our private zones in our houses set the tone for many of our life's events. Since your living areas constitute the backdrop for so many significant and unpleasant events in your life, it's critical that they give warmth, love, and good psychological power.

Escaping The Darkness
Since the beginning of time, there has always been a quest for power: the power to reign over regions, to establish laws or rules, and ultimately the power to dominate people through those laws or regulations. Occasionally, this is born from unspeakable trauma and situations that have permanently altered those affected by it. For some, the unspoken heroes of our time, their motives are pure, and they genuinely want to change the world for the betterment of all. Still, for others, the villains in our lives, their souls have been so damaged that they have to control everything around them, regardless of how it adversely affects anyone in their path. They have to conquer it all, control it all, and have it all to satisfy their deep-seated need for peace and happiness. They become so obsessed with it that they lose all sense and reasoning. They never want to relive the atrocities that left a permanent mark on their soul. They never want to experience that level of pain again but whatever they hope to attain through their ruthless methods is fleeting because they never dealt with the root of their pain, and it has festered and infected their souls.

Too Much Empathy is Bad for You!
If you keep giving more than you are getting, you are going to run out. What do we tell our parents when they compare us to other people? We are not them. I find it appropriate that we tell ourselves the same thing when we go overboard with doing onto others as we wish them to do unto us. This is especially true for empathetic people who will do all they can for anyone who needs help but will rather suffer than ask for help when they need it. Christianity may make you think you could never spend too much time helping others but trust me, prioritizing other people over yourself eventually burns you out.

It's Scary Being a Writer
I never realized I was such a big ol' scaredy cat until the day I sat down and wrote about my fears. It was a frighteningly long list, dating back to childhood with a fear of my own shadow. Fear of ghosts. Fear of vampires. Fear of needles. Fear of rollercoasters. Fear of snakes in toilets. Fear of bed bugs that bite. Fear of Grinches stealing my Christmas presents. Fear of being too skinny. Fear of always being flat-chested. Fear of losing my virginity. Fear of black jelly beans. Fear of stepping on sidewalk cracks and breaking my mother's back.
