There is Something Deeply Ok With Me
This might come off as corny and made up, but I swear this revelation came to me in a dream. I had taken 10 mg of THC before bed to help me sleep and I dreamed that I was in someone's living room hanging out with a group of people who were all being really nice to me and enjoyed my company. I didn't feel any pressure to entertain or impress them, they were just happy to have me around whether we were talking to each other or doing separate things. I knew it was a dream, but I felt so good about myself that I woke up and reached for my phone to type out what felt like the central message of the dream: "There is something deeply ok with me."

Maintaining Positivity, Balance, & Mental Health
There is a fine line between being productive and feeling stressed out. However, there are some simple ways to keep your mind balanced and maintain your mental health throughout the year. The first thing you need to do is create a work/life balance. This means that you have time for yourself, your family, friends, and relaxation. If you don't have time for these things, it's only a matter of time before this will affect your productivity when working (and possibly even make you feel stressed).

Oh, Just to Be Me
I remember things like numbers and dreams. I am constantly doing equations that may mean nothing, or angels. Sometimes I wake up and write down the things I dreamt just moments before. I rarely forget a face, but often let feelings fade. I am someone who, I would say, believes. And I mean in just about everything. From the aesthetic of the Catholic church to Mortal Kombat being a divine tale. In myself, in aliens. Above all, I believe in myself. I believe love can change the world, and that anything is possible. I never gave up this idea; I never lost hope. Even in moments of doubt or question of faith... Hope is what always remains.

Growth in ourselves
Gratitude Does Wonders Sometimes we have to realize that we are never alone. Someone is always with us in those times when we need them. Even when we lose people they stay with us in times when we miss them. The lives we live matter because we are so blessed to live them. We are needing to be grateful for being where we are right now.

Unconditional love
It's hard becoming a young mother. I have been through so many things in my life some good mostly bad. Throughout everything I have been through my mom never failed me. I got pregnant at a young age, before getting pregnant I had run away from home at only 14 years old. I thought I had it all figured out and knew just exactly how the adult life worked. I went to school one day and never came home not thinking of all the people in my life I am hurting and disappointing. It was a rough year and a half on my own. I then became pregnant at 15 years old. In the moment things were great I was with my son's father at the time living with some family members. My mom and I were rebuilding our relationship in this time slowly but surely. I was pregnant but still hadn't told my mom about being pregnant or nothing at all. She just knew I had a serious boyfriend at the time. One day we went for a visit to my mom's with the intent to tell her I was expecting well we did just that. Little did I know she was receiving all of my mail from my doctor visits and ultrasounds things like that. So, when I had told my mom that I was expecting she just handed me the mail and we both started crying tears of joy, tears of sadness. My tears of joy were just from being able to reconnect with my mom and share this wonderful news with her. The sad tears were all the time I had lost out with my mom that whole year and half. Regardless we were back on good terms and I couldn't be any happier. It was in that moment though my mom just held me and I knew how important mothers are. And how I need to be a great example for my son and show him the things I learned from bad decisions I had made. I then went on and had my son. A week after I had my son his father left us really with no explanation other than he wasn't ready. I had to step up figure things out on my own and realize I was going to be doing this on my own. The day this all happened my mom drove to my house picked up me and my son and took us in I was still young at this moment only 16 years old. She took us in took care of us cared for us fed us. My son never went without. I will never regret the things I went through I feel like it only brought us closer and stronger. My son is now 9 years old and loved so much. Moms will always be the back bone and the heart of the family. Me and my mom are the best of friends and we actually have never been closer. We built a bond that can never be broken and at the end of the day people come and go but family especially your mother will never or should never fail you. On my weakest days my mom is always there to show me support and back me up in any situation. Unconditional love.

Translating Kindness and Wonder
I once heard a story about a charity foundation that donated hundreds of latrine seats for houses in a developing country. When a group of inspectors from the foundation came to check on the results of their generous donation, they found the toilets piled up in an empty lot and a community that was furious about the enormous pile of garbage that the foreigners had sent them. It turned out these particular latrine models had a floor piece with a drawing of footprints in front of the toilet seat, meant to indicate that people should sit down to do their business. But the graphics of the foot placements were too far forward, meant for a population where the average person was around 5'8". Most people in this particular village were under 5 feet tall, so when they tried to put their feet on the marks and then sit back, they literally fell on their butts.
