My name is Telina, I love to write and always have since I was a kid. I think writing is my outlet to express my imagination. I’ve always had a big imagination so this platform will help me to get my poems out there.

Valley of the Sun
In the valley of the sun, I saw your hazel green eyes for the first time across the room, alight with curiosity and wonder you walked over to me. You didn't know me, but you held my hand anyway. For just those moments your skin was like velvet soft and beautiful. I felt your essence envelope mine in it's embrace. We were two souls meeting for the first time, and somehow we were aligned. We were about to collide into one. A room full of people and still there was no one around. I focused on your face and your gentle smile. I focused on the drink in your hand and how you played with it on the table. How you were passionate about food just as I was too. I was drawn to your voice and how it vibrated threw your body. The deep vibrato of your voice caused chills to rise along my arms and I scooted closer to your body heat. You wrapped your arms around mine keeping me warm. I knew we both wanted more. I knew we were about to journey to something new.

Growth in ourselves
Gratitude Does Wonders Sometimes we have to realize that we are never alone. Someone is always with us in those times when we need them. Even when we lose people they stay with us in times when we miss them. The lives we live matter because we are so blessed to live them. We are needing to be grateful for being where we are right now.

Loving the Infinite You
Love is an infinite thing no matter where it’s coming from. It shifts and changes over time, but gives each person who feels it a certain glow. When you love the people around you it shows you how much you are willing to do for them just because you care. Caring for someone means you will do something for someone without expecting anything in return. Selfless love means you don’t care what happens to you as long as the other person is safe.
