Covid-19
Well what can I say, this pandemic has certainly shaken our world. However, I know that we will get through this because it feels like that perhaps for once we are finally all united as one. That all barriers that existed before and separated us has finally dispersed and that we all see each other as humans and people.

natural woman wild. authentic and free. I inspire me.
Natural Woman Wild or Higher Self is always flowing around and through, whispering from above, below and inside. She has whispered in the calm and sometimes shouted in the din of chaos -- always whispering from above, below and inside. Finally, I heard her whispers. They have become a part of me. I have made the connection to my sacred Natural Woman Wild or Higher Self.

Nonna's Diary
March 31st, 2020 Dear diary! I hate parties! And just as much as I hate parties, I hate being photographed. Yesterday was probably the worst day in my entire life! Nothing could have gone more wrong! And it’s all because of the stupid costume party that Gaia dragged me to!

The Positives/Silver Linings Emerging From The Coronavirus
Depending on where you live in the world, many of us have been in quarantine and/or self isolation from the Coronavirus pandemic longer than others. Yet this COVID-19 pandemic is affecting us all. It is normal to live in fear, negativity, stress, anxiety and doom and gloom during these uncertain and unsettling times. Personally, one minute I am feeling awesome and at peace with being stuck (completely isolated) at home, living alone, while the next my body is reacting with unpleasant emotions that I can't fathom at the time. The latter is all part of the process of grief and shock that every single human being is going through right now.

5 Ways Quarantine Has Helped Me
It's not a surprise to anyone that I really do not like this quarantine thing. I hate being pent up, and I am such a restless person. I kept two jobs throughout college, I worked 50+ hours a week at Disney, and I was known to petsit for up to three families a week. So naturally, getting laid off and being told I should only leave my house when absolutely necessary, as well as most of the places I like going to being closed, has been a huge slap in the face to me. But honestly, and I thought I would be the LAST person to do this, I must say it's been good in some ways.

The Cheer-up Trifecta
I really do love this age of media... but saying that feels like I just let a swear-word slip in front of my boss. I know that the use of media isn't always constructive or positive but I find it so incredible that we, the humans living on this earth right now, are the first ones to have ever experienced it like this. We've stumbled upon a moment in history: we are "the age of the internet". I think the best thing about it is we are all figuring out that the internet, so saturated and full to the brim with information, is almost entirely what we decide we want it to be. Certainly it's always important to explore new sources of information and to keep up to date on current events, but you ultimately have the power to decide when and where and how you do that. We can find a happy place on the internet amidst the chaos of the information overload. We can create better online environments for ourselves and others by interacting with joy and ignoring hatred and negativity. We can use this tool to connect rather than divide if we so choose. It's truly amazing how much power we have over our own feelings and experiences even in the wake of all of this information!

Time to Smile :)
As I sit, at this moment, in front of my bedroom window capturing the subtle struggle between sun and clouds; of who defeats the other to provide either sunshine or bleakness to the world below; a sudden warmth runs through my body. A strange feeling embodies my soul and a sudden smile lit on my face as I realize that is what life is about. Life is a tug of war between sunshine and rain: both aspects nourishing our souls with a mix of smiles and tears.

The one that accomplished nothing
The year is 1993, which means I was 4, my brother was 2 and she was pregnant with my second brother. It was a typical day in paradise. We were eating one of her delicious creations she was serenading us by singing as she usually does when we’re alone with her and my brother and I were playing quietly in the corner as we waited. These moments of peace with the ones I was most grateful for because dad wasn’t home. Dad scared all of us. He was never nice for very long and lost his temper often. I remember this day quite vividly my mother was wearing a green dress I’m cooking on the stove top from a distance due to her being eight months pregnant. I remember wondering if the baby was hot being so close to the oven. This moment of serenity was quickly disturbed by slam of an opening door. Everyone tensed-up, even my two-year-old baby brother. I grabbed him by the hand and carried him to the bedroom where he pretended to sleep in hopes that he would have some compassion for my mom and not yell too loud like he did once.
