Ten Reasons To Be Happy Right Now No Matter What

Life tends to go in waves at times and we don't always know what is going to happen from one moment to the next. Things often catch us off guard. However, I know for sure that there are always constants in our lives that we can be happy about no matter what we are going through, where we are in life, and the things happening around us. So here are ten reasons we can be happy right now no matter what.

1. You’re alive.

No matter what is going on, what you are dealing with, or where you are, at the very least you are alive. We all struggle, we all fall short, and we all have some misses. But you are alive and that is something worth celebrating every second of everyday. It’s not always perfect, but your life is worth living. No one can do it better than you.

2. You have a home.

If you are lucky enough to have a home you shouldn’t take that for granted. It is always something to be happy about. Not only the house you live in, but the things you have in your house, the people that make your house a home, and knowing that you have a safe place to go home to everyday.

3. Everyday is an opportunity to be better.

Everyday that you wake up is another chance to live the life you want. It’s an opportunity to grow and be better than you were yesterday. Focus on being the best version of yourself that you can be. Seize each day that you have as a chance to continue to be better.

4. You’re beautiful.

You are a beautiful person and it’s important for you to know that. We all have beauty in us and it’s important to let that beauty shine. Be kind, help others, and be good to yourself. That makes you beautiful. Be happy that you have beauty to share and that you have something to be proud of.

5. There is beauty all around you.

Whether it is in the people you see, the nature outside your window, your dog when they greet you at your door, or the book that you are reading, there is beauty all around you. Take some time to look around and take in all of the beauty. You will find happiness in the simple things that you find to be beautiful.

6. You are loved.

I know when we think of the word love we sometimes think of romantic love, but it doesn’t have to be that. If it is, that’s great. You should definitely be happy about that. But you are also loved by others. For some it’s their family, for others it’s their friends, and others are blessed to be loved by a pet. Be happy for those who love you.

7. You have won many battles.

If you have made it this far then I can be assured that you have most likely won many battles in your life. You probably haven’t come this far without hitting some bumps along the way. Be happy about how far you have come and what you have had the strength to endure. Don’t sell yourself short of those accomplishments.

8. Life is unpredictable.

Sometimes this might not always be a good thing, but it’s still something worth being happy about. Because life is not always the most predictable, the bad things don’t last forever and you never know what good might come your way. Your luck might change before you have a chance to figure out what’s going on.

9. You can create your own happiness.

You do have some control over the things that make you happy. So spend time doing things that bring you joy, talking to people who make you smile and laugh, and just being happy in general. It will have a tremendous impact on you. So be happy that you have chances to create your own happiness and then go be happy.

10. The best is truly yet to come.

We all have good memories and things we look back on. But the truth is, you never know what is coming down the line. So you can be happy about the fact that the best day of your life hasn’t happened yet. Because even if you had a great day today, there could be something you don’t know about yet to make another day even better.

Regardless of things going on in your life at any given time, just know that there are always reasons you can be happy. Recognize what you have and all that you have to be grateful for. Stay focused on the positive and you will start to become a happier person. Keep this list on hand for days when you are feeling down and stay strong!
