Why it is 'Merry Christmas' not 'Happy Christmas'?
December 25 is just around the corner, and you've no doubt been sending "Merry Christmas" wishes to everyone from your grocery store cashier to your friends and family members. You've probably also been signing the phrase in all your Instagram captions and Christmas cards this year—after all, it's the ultimate Christmas wish in the U.S.!

How Starting the Morning Over Can Help Improve Your Day
My morning started off all wrong. Before I’d even opened my eyes, I heard my children squabbling. By the time I managed to get out of bed and stumble to the coffee pot, I was on the border of being cranky. But, I kept telling myself, it wasn’t too late to have a good day.

2020 in a (yummy) nutshell
2020 has been a whopping mess for most of us. It seems like this past year has exacerbated all the latent tensions that have been developing in society for years. Lack of healthcare, Lack of job security, racial discrimination, political corruption, plain old human selfishness, fake news, police brutality. Trust me - THE LIST GOES ON. 2020 seems to keep throwing those punches…

World Of Art
The world is a beautiful universe. It’s meant for us to explore and be of good cheer. It has so many opportunities for you and I. We can be who we want to be. We have the ability to choose the path of our life. It’s up to each and everyone of us. I chose to be at peace and do what I love. Most importantly we need not to be stressed out for the things we can’t control. I’m ready to explore the world and leave the stress behind. We have to work together no matter how we feel. We should always be of good cheer through out the year.

How To End 2020 And Start 2021 Being Grateful
If you had the power to click one button on a remote control and jump right into 2021, would you do it? At this point most of us would not hesitate to do so; saying the year 2020 has been tough is an understatement. Before you leap, there is one catch though. Once you hit the button, you cannot change your mind or look back. Some would still tap the button right now, while others are a little more cautious. As you are thinking, consider what the aftermath of this global pandemic has done. It has put us front and center with unexpectedly knowing what it now feels like to be unprepared in the worst way worldwide and uncertain about what lies ahead in the future.

Allow Yourself the Courage to Believe Differently
Nineteen months after my ministerial ordination I resigned. Literally, I found myself unable to ignore the multitude of questions I’d tried to suppress about God, faith, religion, spirituality, church, and church leadership. Because of this, I thought it best to step away from all my pastoral duties and leadership roles in our local assembly.

Be weird, I am!
How weird are you? Weirdness, along with any other personality trait, should be a case of personal perspective. What is weird for one person is not necessarily weird at all for the next, potentially totally bloomin' normal even. So, why is it I ask, that as a society the majority feel the need to supress their 'weirdness' to conform to the ideals. Is it that as humans we have an innate need to be accepted which overrules our desire to be happy and free? How far will we go in our quest for approval, while conforming to society hides our real persona?

Who Am I?
Who am I? The type of girl that was insecure and wanted more out of the love that she was getting cause she didn’t have enough love to give herself. The type of girl that needed validation and acceptance from the worst type of people because She couldn’t accept herself. Looking in the mirror with her head down cause society said her appearance wasn’t pretty enough when it was up. So she covered up her hair and face so she didn’t have to hear the negative comments that was so fucked up. When I thought back on these times in my life I was like “Damn”! Cause even though that’s who I WAS, that still makes me WHO I AM.

Some Good Things in 2020
The year 2020 is not what we anticipated. COVID-19 is still affecting us around the world, the authorities of police officers being questioned, riots, and we are mostly politically divided. Yet we must look at other aspects of what this year has present. Like the old saying, you must take in the bad to have the good. So this is what we positively gain from 2020.
