Manifesting Your 2020 Goals
It's About Doing The Inner And Outer Work

Twenty-Twenty is here, and as per usual, most people flock to the saying of, "New Year, New Me" tune! It's cliche, and so it sounds good. However, reality is, that's not how you get to crush your goals. Talking East and walking West has never gotten anyone anywhere in life. You literally have to to walk the talk not just follow a trendy saying. So with that, I want to share with you four mindful yet practical ways in which you can set your 2020 on fire to be your absolute best year yet. And, to do that, there's both some inner and outer work that must be done first. Let's begin!
(1.) BEING MINDFUL: it's all about diving deep in order to pull forth the very best from yourself as well as deal with some ugly traits you might find, and getting real and honest with yourself with whatever shows up. Because, lying to yourself certainly isn't going to make you a happy person and a better one either in order for you to live your best year or better yet, your best life ever or New Year, New Me type of talk.
The Holy text states it, to be a new man, you must put on new sackcloth (mindset). It's a renewing of the mind that does the trick, and doing the inner work is what will bring that about. And, here's one way you can begin that process of making over your mind inside out. I call one of these ways the Mindset Mantra Monday. And, it's simple. (a.) Think of a word that describes what you want for your life or more of in your life. For example - focus. (b.) Use that word to formulate a mantra statement. Such as, today and everyday, I choose to focus on what makes me healthy, happy, and successful. (c.) Repeat mantra three times daily until Sunday. (d.) When Monday arrives again, think of a new word and repeat steps (a-c). Secondly, there's also what I'm calling Transformation Affirmations. These, again, are mindful steps that will help you rewire your brain to think positively more often than not. To do this, (a.) think of three words that describe the life you want to live. For example, healthy, happy, successful. (b.) Use those words to create "I AM" statements. Such as, I AM healthy in mind, body, heart, and soul. I AM happy go lucky always in all ways. I AM successful in whatever I do. (c) Repeat the three "I AM" statements each morning, at the beginning of your day, for the next three months. (d.) At the close of th0se three months, pick three new words and repeat steps (a-c).
(2.) RAISE YOUR VIBRATION: We often hear we are to raise our vibration. However, we've never been made aware what is truly required to actually do so. We've heard suggestions such as, think positive, take a walk in nature, think happy thoughts, laugh often, smile much, go to church, use crystals, etc., etc. Though, those steps truly do help, they are only temporary fixes. They really don't make clear the root cause of why you have taken on a low vibration in the first place. And, so, we can never truly remedy or solve an issue until we've identified the root cause. And, the root cause to low vibration is a broken heart. Yep, there you have it. We must first heal our hearts in order to effectively raise our vibration. Our heart is the engine of our soul, body, and mind. Like a car's engine, if it's clogged up with debris such as negative emotions from a heartbreak (bad break up), belittling self-talk or from others, self-hatred, being dealt a crappy, unjust hand in life; struggle or poverty of the odds being against you, poor parenting, physical and psychological abuse, you were deceived and used, etc., then you will be unable to fire up your engine, or in this case, your vibration - your energy field, because your engine (your heart) is clogged up. And, love is the only ingredient that can heal a broken heart.
First, it begins with loving yourself in order to be the example of the love you deserve from other people. You're setting the standards and creating boundaries for how you'll be treated and what you will and will not accept going forward. That's the only way to mend a broken heart and maintain its safe-keeping and healthy status thereafter. It's imperative to protect your heart from all negativity in order to raise your vibration. Whether that means cutting off frenemies or negative people from your life, getting a new job because the current one drains you, repeating positive affirmations and mantras to rewire your brain, playing high vibratory music to unhitch negative entities from your space or mind, talking to a licensed therapist or trusted friend, unfollow a few persons on social media because you're comparing yourself to them, taking a break or rest from the routine, journal to remove the noise and clutter from your mind, etc., then do it, whatever it is, in order to effectively get the negativity out of your engine (heart) for new, healthy, and positive habits and feelings (emotions) to take root.
And, as long as you're not doing any physical harm to anyone in the process, by all means, do whatever it takes to heal your precious heart. Yes, it's precious, and it's a process. So, render yourself some patience and kindness. It takes time, but ultimately, it's love that mends a broken heart. So, heal your hearts, dear ones, and in turn, you've raised your vibration for the long run.
(3.) VISUAL GOAL MAPPING is a fun way that makes goal setting looks pretty! Like literally, it does. You get to look at, on a daily basis, a beautifully put together poster board hung on your office wall or a digital one that you can save to your phone or other devices. Pictures that you've gathered from around the web, from magazines, etc. of what you want to achieve or manifest in your life in 2020. I'm a visual person, so this works well especially for me. It can work for you too. Even if you're not a visual person, a visual of a goal or destination is sure to entice and excite you to want to get there. It's right in front of you. Hence, it keeps you reminded throughout the months in the year just what you look forward to.
Besides, life is like taking a road trip to someplace you've never been to. So, it's important to have a map to prevent getting lost, so you can stay on course in order to get to your desired destination. Your visual goal mapping is that map for your yearly life goals. You can accompany it with a timeline or schedule to be sure you arrive there on time before year end. You can create a written timeline or schedule it out for a daily, weekly, monthly, or quarterly checkup, and make adjustments or tweak it when necessary. Darling, it's not written in stone. It's only on paper. Things happen along the journey. You can change if you'd like to suit your situation as the days of the year progress.
Last, we are visual creatures, and a picture is worth a thousand words as it has long been aid. So, we tend to be moved by that which we see when it's desirable to us. Make your visual goal map one that you'd want to escape to by mapping out the life of your dreams with this fun new tool in your tool box if you haven't already done so. ; ) You can find an example of visual goal mapping here.
(4.) CLARITY! Be clear about your intentions or desires. Without clarity, your manifestations will be wishy-washy, topsy-turvy, sticker-upperish!!! You get the drift. So, be as clear as crystal. Otherwise, it's like asking a genie to get you a house, but you didn't state the specifics such as, five bedrooms, six bathrooms, the style, neighborhood, etc. And, so, you got whatever, because you weren't on the nose about what you want.
Being specific or clear when you wish and/or ask for anything, will more likely than not, get you exactly what you want. Without a clear direction or description of your desires, you're really just spinning your wheels and getting nowhere fast. So, be clear. Next, listen for the answer. Then, take action to do your part in the co-creative process of manifestation.
A happy, healthy, and successful 2020 to you all! : )
