36 Productive Things To Do When You're Bored Out Of Your Mind
We often associate being bored with being lazy, unmotivated, and unproductive. It doesn't have to be though. Striving to always be productive and achieve something is not in my opinion, a very healthy lifestyle choice.

Who put you in the writer's closet?
A writer is by definition someone who writes, it’s as simple as that. In the evolution of writing and authorship, however, we've come to see money and/or being traditionally published as the true markers of literary success and if we’re equating book sales with whether or not you can be defined as a writer then I guess most of us should probably give up the ghost right now.

Something to remember
Do you ever wish you could go back in time and know what you know now? I feel like everyone answers this question differently and for most it is a solid yes or no, but for me the answer is both. On one hand I would love a chance to go back in time and change my future, it would have saved a lot of tears and self-doubting, I would be at a completely different place in life and potentially a completely different person (whether that's good or bad; I'll never know). On the other hand, I wouldn't have met half the people I've met in life, or our relationship would have been completely different and for that reason alone I am sure I would be a completely different person. But what if I could have just seen myself through others eyes, what an intriguing and potentially magical experience that would have been. I could have seen, heard, and actually listened to all the people cheering me on instead of myself doubt. I could have gone after all of the opportunities that I didn't think I was good enough or smart enough or pretty enough, or just not ready for. I look back now and think of all those past conversations with old classmates, coworkers, friends, or supposed friends, family members, and family friends. I wonder if I could have seen myself through even just a fraction of their eyes who I would have seen.

Why I left Hustle Culture
Survival skills are meant to be learned within the confines of Scout Troops and the Military. In America, for many children we learn them young and without ability to distinct the moments where we do not have to fight for our lives. I grew up in the American dream home, two floors, two adults in the home and three kids. I was in the middle, my sister who was emotionally younger than me was older than I and my brother was the youngest but as the glue that held the family from my mother to my stepfather, he was safer for most of his life. This story isn't about that but the abuse from an alcoholic stepfather is the first lesson I had to keep moving, keep my head low and never stop working because nothing is stable.

Freelancing Is Sustainable on One Condition: You Turn Into a Hamster
I love being a freelancer. I set my own hours and rates, I don’t have to sit in on long work meetings that lead nowhere, and the introvert inside me squeals with happiness each time a new contract is opened without any face-to-face interaction.

Respect Oneself First
Respect is a tricky concept. Probably, the hardest lesson to master for any student in martial arts or any person navigating life is what does "respect" mean? At various times, individuals are expected to give respect with no other qualifier than "you're supposed to." It always baffles me to think about how many times we say that to a young person, yet we then follow that statement with "respect must be earned."

Why You Should Start Journaling
Now I know why you are here so let me answer the big question for you, Why should you start journaling? In my opinion and from others who have come before me would say “If it's too much to handle in your head then put it on paper”. What I mean by this is when you're having a pretty rough day, crack open that journal and write down those feelings as well as what made those feelings become active within you. The average person will grab the journal after a long day and write about how their day sucked and didn't go their way and they'll go to sleep feeling that exact way and that’s not what journaling is all about. Journaling is about expressing yourself through literature, power, and emotions. This is a safe place where you can relax have your favorite cup of coffee tea or whatever you prefer and from here you can rewind and feel the stress from your mind flow on that crisp white page of paper. This is a great habit to build up because it's easier to deal with things with just a pen and pad rather than having the mental stress eating you alive day by day. This will help and change your life tremendously. This will give you the control you thought you would have never had. What are you controlling you may ask? Your mind, your mind is a very powerful tool it literally absorbs each and everything like a sponge rather we like it or not. The key is that journaling isn't just about doodling and writing dear diaries every once in a while. A journal is your power, it's your strength, your gate to success. Your journal wont judge, break or bend you. What I mean is the people we deal with on a day to day basis can be very much like journaling but its roles are reversed. They want to laugh at your failures and boo at your wins. Now that I've talked a bit about how journaling can change your life, let me crack it down with some benefits. It has been proven that journaling not only benefits your daily stress levels by decreasing them but it also does much more behind the scenes. It also can help boost your memory and comprehension which can keep your mind up to date allowing you to take the time out and live in the moment. Say goodbye to the lost track of time for good because there's no limit of where your mind and journal could take you from here on now. Getting a load of this also boosts your overall mood so letting out all those little negative emotions in your head can really turn your life in the right direction ready for you and that big chapter ahead of you. As Well as strengthening your overall emotional health. Emotional health sooner or later turns into mental health and that can lead to tragic endings for most. Journaling has also been linked with mindfulness and gratitude; these two will surely change the way you think, act and feel for the good of you and others. As you can see just taking a little bit of time out of your day rather your in school, waiting to get picked up, on break at work even at the beach you can take this small simple thing and it will change your life but only if you allow it to only if you want balance in your life then give a journal a try I want the best for all of You I love you.

The Gift That Keeps Giving
In a world where acts of kindness performed by high profile individuals can seem to eclipse anything we lesser mortals might perform (I’m thinking of people such as celebrities, heroes, prominent figures and the like) we can all too easily lose sight of what we have to offer the world. All too often it can seem like we are comparing the modest light of a candle with the brightness of the sun .

Learning to Breathe
Have you ever been under a lot of stress? You might say that you find it continuously. When confronted by dilemma, it is amazing that humans often neglect a most vital resource-oxygen. Sometimes, stress will be so severe that individuals even stop breathing or hold their breath in response.
