Why You Should Start Journaling
Understanding the benefits of writing

Now I know why you are here so let me answer the big question for you, Why should you start journaling? In my opinion and from others who have come before me would say “If it's too much to handle in your head then put it on paper”. What I mean by this is when you're having a pretty rough day, crack open that journal and write down those feelings as well as what made those feelings become active within you. The average person will grab the journal after a long day and write about how their day sucked and didn't go their way and they'll go to sleep feeling that exact way and that’s not what journaling is all about. Journaling is about expressing yourself through literature, power, and emotions. This is a safe place where you can relax have your favorite cup of coffee tea or whatever you prefer and from here you can rewind and feel the stress from your mind flow on that crisp white page of paper. This is a great habit to build up because it's easier to deal with things with just a pen and pad rather than having the mental stress eating you alive day by day. This will help and change your life tremendously. This will give you the control you thought you would have never had. What are you controlling you may ask? Your mind, your mind is a very powerful tool it literally absorbs each and everything like a sponge rather we like it or not. The key is that journaling isn't just about doodling and writing dear diaries every once in a while. A journal is your power, it's your strength, your gate to success. Your journal wont judge, break or bend you. What I mean is the people we deal with on a day to day basis can be very much like journaling but its roles are reversed. They want to laugh at your failures and boo at your wins. Now that I've talked a bit about how journaling can change your life, let me crack it down with some benefits. It has been proven that journaling not only benefits your daily stress levels by decreasing them but it also does much more behind the scenes. It also can help boost your memory and comprehension which can keep your mind up to date allowing you to take the time out and live in the moment. Say goodbye to the lost track of time for good because there's no limit of where your mind and journal could take you from here on now. Getting a load of this also boosts your overall mood so letting out all those little negative emotions in your head can really turn your life in the right direction ready for you and that big chapter ahead of you. As Well as strengthening your overall emotional health. Emotional health sooner or later turns into mental health and that can lead to tragic endings for most. Journaling has also been linked with mindfulness and gratitude; these two will surely change the way you think, act and feel for the good of you and others. As you can see just taking a little bit of time out of your day rather your in school, waiting to get picked up, on break at work even at the beach you can take this small simple thing and it will change your life but only if you allow it to only if you want balance in your life then give a journal a try I want the best for all of You I love you.
