Stuck In Traffic

alot of folks wake up wondering what the day will be like and sometimes some predict their day either writing down what they want to accomplish or achieve on that particular day itself. While others just simple get up and get going .And you ask yourself while you are on the road .where am I going to?

Tony got a call he needs to be at an audition by 10am ,woke up abit late on this day and rushing to get dressed and also wear what he feels will the get the judges attention while he delivers he's impressive monologue performance which he has been rehearsing for weeks now, he forgot to carry his cell phone . He thought he had ,that feeling you get when you believe and know that my is always in my back pocket..

right in the middle of his journey he touches hes back pocket and it's not there !!!panicked...in thoughts,wondering !!!did I or I didn't carry my phone !!but I thought I did ...wait a minute,where could my phone be ?? he can't turn back now ,hes stuck in traffic and hes praying to get to the audition asap..Somemuch is going through his mind..

Amanda isn't bothered waking up today ,she just wants to lye down in bed for a few more hours but she is actually awake ,she is just in thoughts thinking while her eyes are closed..and suddenly she remembers it's her mums birthday,she jumps out of bed ..asking herself how did I forget ?didn't i know it was today or maybe i made a mistake .so she rushes to her calendar and its actually today...she checks her time and she's been in bed the whole day ...frantic ...she rushed to the bathroom,grabs her toothbrush ,jumps in into the shower and she is brushing her teeth while taking a shower ..she need to hurry and pick up a cake for her mum and if the store closes ,she would have ruined the surprise dinner party they had all planned for her mum.

Jumps out of the shower and jumps into a pair of Jeans and downstairs she goes...

grabs a motor bike and vroom they go ...suddenly theres a bit of traffic and the motor bike guy can't seem to maneuver through,she starts to yell at him ,but you shouldn't have taken this way ,you could have taken another way ,I mean I have to get to the cakes and cream shop before they close.. the bike guy encourages her to take it easy unless she wants to get off and walk or jog to the shop .well she agrees. that's a better option. she pays and forgets her change with the bike guy and starts to walk down ...

The landlord visited George last week ,he is behind on rent and he promised the landlord he would get back to him today with good news .George is hoping to ask his boss for a loan .He got to work just on the dot of 8am but hes boss is not in a good mood ...They jet out in the company's official vehicle and hes usually happy Jovial boss isn't talking and he is just staring at the window beside him ..Goerge is driving and wondering ,what am I going to do ?how will I bring this up ?will he listen to me or maybe today is not the perfect time and maybe I should do it another time,I don't want to upset my boss or maybe I should just tell him ,the worst thing he will do is say no ...or may be not..but what will I do ?I already promised the landlord today .....all the thoughts barging through Georges head ..he takes a turn into a particularly familiar road that he knows and theres traffic and hes boss goes..what is this ?Hes boss is exasperated and George is simply thinking oh my why did I take this Highway..

Tobi and Greg are at the busstop .they ve been there for over an hour .No bus in sight .and now a whole lot of others are at the busstop waiting ...Greg says to Tobi i can't seem to understand where all the busse are or what is going on ..look man do you know if we had started walking we would have gotten to the venue by now ...tobi says are you saying we should walk ?its a long distance and it's a sunny day ..Greg's starts to walk and tobi joins ..before you know it we would be at venue and even if we get there late ,its alot better than standing at the busstop endlessly. tobi laughs ...while they walk ,a couple of others start doing the same ..and they both smile....

sometimes and most times things never really go the way you forsee it and most times the path is very interesting and full of surprises .Eventually. .....yes some will reach their destination and others might even turn back and some might not even embark on their journey...

The judges gave a resounding applause for Tony's monologue Perfomance and they said hes performance outweighed his lateness and he certainly got the role ...he gave a judge hes phone number and was explaining that he left hes phone at home in the rush to get to the audition and the judge said it's ok I would just dial your number so when you get home you ll mine ...suddenly theres a ring sound Tony's says that's my ring tone and he grabs hes bag and voila hes cell phone was all this while in his small bag ...he bursts into laughter oooh my oh my and I thought I left it at home or even lost it ...and the judge said it happens ..

Amanda is so upset .after much pleading the security officer refuses to open the gate and says to her we are closed and you don't even have your receipts that you booked a cake .Amanda is still trying to explain that look if you let me in I would be able to explain to them ,it must have fallen down on the way here ....she still wasn't let in .

she calls her brother and she feels so bad and sober explaining it's her fault and how she got overslept and traffic and got the receipt missing and her brother says oooh amanda didn't you see my note beside your bedside .she says what note ?

he says I didn't want to wake you up and all so I took the receipt and I left a note saying I would help get mums cake and don't bother yourself ...she screams,she laughs , but why didn't you tell me she is like wow with a great sigh of relief ..

after 3hours in traffic George's boss starts to laugh without anyone speaking to him and says can you imagine George I just got a text saying the meeting I was rushing for has been moved and we have been approved anyways for the transaction based on our track record even without a presentation pitch for this new deal..George says wow great boss .

The boss says Goerge you have been very quiet and I notice you were sweating even with the air conditioning on..hope everything is ok at the home front .?

It was like drinking a refreshing cold water on a hot sunny day .George told his boss what was going on and he handed a check of double the amount George needed for rent and George is so excited and says I will certainly pay you back boss and she goes don't worry about paying back ,that's on me .Goerge can't believe he's ears ...full of smiles and cant wait to get home .

sometimes been stuck in traffic doesn't mean you are stuck.
