During intense workouts, as we all know, breakdown of muscle tissues occurs, to build new muscle tissues you need the right amount of protiein in your body.
All the more reason just plain protein is not very useful in a state of massive caloric deficit, since an adequate amount of calories are very much needed by the body because in the case of lesser calories in the body can induce the usage of protein as a source of energy. This can cause your body to be deficient in the proper amount of protein necessary for the recovery of body tissues. So, make sure that your body gets all the essential, carbohydrates, glucose in order to keep your body active even after physical activities.
