Scammers on the rise

Prevention is so much better than the other outcome

shays_creations frugal thoughts and I mean frugal. It is a crying out loud shame to read how many people had to close up their online shops. It is truly disgusting how a buyer can order an item and after tracking shows it was delivered to their location. They would say it was not delivered to them. We know at times the tracking is a little off. I know I take in my neighbor's packages and she takes in mine.

Before calling out all the stops and asking for a refund people are not considering the small home workers they are affecting. I am not speaking of the people that are truly missing packages. Just the good for nothing savages that are doing this on purpose. I have read a few sellers last weeks and the past few months who closed shop. Some rely on this sum of income for all their income. It truly has begun to be an issue.

I resorted to pick up only for those items shipped in boxes. I have been also arringing delivery which eases the minds of both parties. If your listing online it is best to use a land line phone. I can't tell you the amount of people asking me to please click a link. I have been tempted a time or two not to comment. Others I comment and block them. They have something planned for you after clicking that link. Capital one bank if amazing. They won't get far if you have them.

If your out to resell and your not in dire straights. List and let go it will be sold when the right buyers is ready. I don't know everything trust me. I just know a little that can save your sanity. Prevention is so much easier than dealing with regret and sorrow. Start to make plans to protect yourself and the buyer. If you have security at your location. Be sure to mention it so the buyer is aware of their safety picking it up.

Plan to toss in a freebie of some kind. Just keep your eye on your a buyer before a seller. What would you want in way of great customer service. Always add your business contact incase they want something later you can provide. If your listing on ebay and or etsy always remember the site owners are on the customers side first. They need those customers to return willing to spend. Protect yourself with a video if at all possible.

I don't ship with tracking but I sure do return the buyer a image of it being dropped in the postal box. I have had no issues to really complain about so thank Goodness. On another note while times are hard I have decided to focus on marketing for myself. I make my own business cards, and I use the business card template to make my stickers. How awesome is that to allow myself not to print and cut. who says the sticker has to be round.

My only issue with my cards is envelopes are hard to come by. I grind on crowdtap.com to stock my envelopes. I use my free gift cards and just try to keep ordering them. If you have a space in your home to make a nice set up for your goods. Try your hand and pick up and let that be something to tide you over to release you from scammers. Have the person look over the item before leaving your location. And always remember no returns due to sanitary conditions. Remember allergies and yo have no access to knowing it they have pets or anything else you would not want in contact with your goods. shays_creations
