In life many strive for financial wealth. They want the big house, the cars, the successful business. Why? Because they believe the obtainment of those things will make them happy. So they plan, believe and work towards financial freedom. There is nothing wrong with that, and it is the birthright of every human being to have abundance in life. This means abundance in all areas happiness, health, wealth, love, and a positive connection to the world around them. The receiving of such things should be approached with an air of detachment. So the building of material wealth should work in concert with the belief that if it all disappeared tomorrow you would still be fine. Yes, loosing what you once held would be damaging in the moment, but it should never define you or destroy you.
To have a good relationship with money must change your dialog about and with money. Many are raised with certain beliefs like; "money is the root of evil" which is false in context. Money is not the root of evil. The love and attachment to money can lead to evil actions. Money is merely a tool, a means to an end. Do you strive for the accumulation of more wrenches or screwdrivers? It is obvious that hand tools do not pay the bills, unless they are used to aid in the accumulation of money. True to form money can be a blessing or a burden. That is why there are some with great wealth who are giving and charitable adding to the betterment of the world around them. Yet and still there are others who cheat, steal, manipulate and even kill for the obtainment of money.
Money is a mindset. To allow the flow of money into your life the conversation should not be of lack, but of abundance. Your self talk as well as your response should never be in opposition to your desires. Those are liken to off-setting penalties in sports that cancel one another out. Living with the belief or thought that money does not grow on trees or saying things like; "I can't afford that" sends out a signal of limitations to the physical to the universe and further promotes those same limiting beliefs. Practice seeing your dream car or house for example and saying "I can afford that, I can buy that." At first this may seem like a lie, because what you want is seen internally as out of reach or hard to obtain. Within the repetition of this mantra is liken to working out your muscles at the gym. If you train your mind to accept it as a possibility you open pathways towards its obtainment. When you shift your mind from lack to abundance you tune into possibilities that in the past may have passed by you unseen. The roadblocks disappear and the road to good fortune open up to you. Then what you thought to be out of reach and unobtainable in the past will instead become possibilities. We are far more powerful than most of us give ourselves credit for and the social codes and personal history are no longer an important factor in our journey once we change our mindset. Then beliefs are rewritten and perceptions shift from what is not possible in our lives to the abundance of possibilities. We see ourselves as pure potential swimming in a sea of possibilities. Dreams become goals and obstacles are the catalyst for growth and success in life. Then the realization becomes evident that our past does not equal or future. Instead of allowing our history to dictate our future we come to realize who we become tomorrow is a result of who we are today. Money is just a tool and you are the artisan of the life unfolding before you.
